Dobbin has won more aerial battles this season (14) than Alfie May has in the last 2 full seasons (10). He's not the type of CF to play the lone striker role in a Warne side. Disappointed with the decision of the INDEPENDENT commission. Regrettably determined that there were INSUFFICIENT grounds to appeal. But still produced two sets of fixtures, but you still deny they had an agenda. Everyone has had enough of it now, but forgive and forget, not a chance. I don’t want to further debate it, I’m done. Yes there’s many a fan who read the EFl statement and said: ‘the EFl have said they want us relegated’ So, as those fans would have it: 1 the EFL wanted us relegated ( and obviously the EFL knew that was not something they could ever admit to) . 2 they the EFL issued a statement indicating they indeed wanted us relegated. You see the problem Those fans have no idea what the EFL was saying in that statement, nor what motivated it Edited April 29, 2023 by kevinhectoring

He would add goals to the team that we have been unable to apply anybody who can finish in the 6 yard box

McGoldrick's about 50:50, but makes up for that in the rest of his play. Warne's version of something different still doesnt drop below winning about 33% of aerial battles, which is roughly where Collins is at. May is the worst CF in the league for aerial battles. He's at a measly 9%.

Hector certainly worth a look although he’s been about and never really seems to have fulfilled his potential. Could we be the right home for him. Flint - as mentioned we’ve been linked many times before. Be interesting to see how he plays against us if he’s selected but feel like we should move on. Would have liked him a few years back. The Coventry lad, Dabo didn’t do much against us for me, so that would be a no although it’s an area we need to recruit. Lavery - right age, but in truth I’ve not seen enough of him to offer an opinion. Right age but that’s not a reason to sign him. For what it’s worth, that’s my take on them, Regards Gangway D from the terrace Edited May 2, 2023 by GangwayD

Sell Beilik Signing 2 new players in a position that doesn’t exist (wide forwards) in Warnes preferred system is bold. We need to sign a proper RWB, competition for Roberts who I think is a good enough footballer to play LWB. We need 2 first team ready CBS with Rooney deputising. An attacking mid and a striker (possibly two) closer to what Warne would want. A new goalkeeper as backup to JW. GK: Wildsmith, New RWB: New, Smith LWB: Roberts, New CB: Cash, Foz, New, New, Rooney CM: Hourihane, Bird, Knight, Thompson Att Mid: New, Sibley Strikers: McG, New, Collins, NML?? 7 new signings. At the right age profile. Squad of 21.
