Gritstone, that's okay, I'm a bit of an Indian myself, but I do believe in the democratic process.

I think you know me well enough from posts on here, and I can't ever recall making a political comment (I used to hide a few, back when I was a moderator! ?)

Every public group has a constitution and set of rules, whether left or right wing.

But I can assure you that every member of RamsTrust has a vote at all General Meetings. Between those, the Board does of course run the Trust on behalf of its members. But we try to involve them, we do surveys, we have an active members message board and we always ask for questions from members to take to Supporters Charter Group.

If you've got fifteen minutes, listen to our new Chair Hilary Leam's interview on Radio Derby tonight. About 6.10 p.m.

Hilary Leam was excellent on Radio Derby this evening. An impressive interview. I hope she does very well. And, no, I’m not a member of any official supporters group, but I might join if she carries on.

Very good interview. I'm not a member of any supporters group either, other than the South West Upper Lunatic Fringe, but if that woman isnt a good representation of a large proportion of Rams fans then I don't know who would be... good luck to her!

Correct, it isn`t a guitar lesson, its a group who claim to have the best interests of DCFC at heart, which in itself is fine, and something that I`m sure 99%-100% of DCFC supporters want. However, it seems, that unless you agree completely with their mantra, and have a certain political viewpoint, you wont be welcome.

This surely is bordering on authoritarian and discriminatory?

Up to them obviously if they want to make it like that, but equally they cant complain when sections of supporters criticise?

Perhaps you'd be kind enough to share the details of the alternative group that you have set up if you're so unhappy with how Rams Trust is set up?

Listened to last night’s interview on RD, she spoke very well and sounds like an ideal chair for the Rams Trust.

I don’t get the negative comments about the Rams Trust. They are what they are, are linked to the FSA and advocate supporter representation.

Aside from the gaff promoting expensive borrowing during season ticket sales last year I don’t see the harm.

I’m glad there is a Rams Trust and hope the new chair does well.

I'd be slightly concerned if members' political persuasions was a discussion point at Rams Trust meetings. The idea that there's some left-wing conspiracy at the top sounds completely pie in the sky.

I suppose it's just a coincidence then that you get a free copy of The Communist Manifesto (signed by Rammie) when you join. And I presume all Trusts have pictures of Castro and Chairman Mao over the walls of their heavily defended compound?

I agree, don't care what they do as they represent such a tiny minority of fans.

It annoys me they get behind this fan-led review which had 77000 replies, not all positive. Not 77000 from Derby, but the whole of the country. As a % of interested football fans that attend or view, that is very very small number.

As a business you would not base your sales strategy around such a small cross section, many of whom will be members of a trust/FSA and in favour regardless.

Hopefully it never comes in

Hold on, this poster is implying they have some sort of business acumen? I think we should take all of their constructive comments very seriously. No doubt they are highly succesful too, so rightly distrust the anti-growth coalition that is Ramstrust. Has anyone at Ramstrust ever had an actual job? I very much doubt it!

Tbh i've previously not liked the RT mainly because the previous person in charge was up their own ass. That and the idea of people taking payday loans etc to get season tickets & finally repeatedly claiming to speak for all fans , when all fans are not signed up to their group. However having just listened to that interview im willing to listen and if it continues the same way i might even consider joining.

Your ability to listen and change you mind has no place in the modern world comrade.

I'd completely forgotten about that. What a wild night on Twitter that was! ?

Interesting that a lot of folks seem to want to diss Rams Trust.  I can only assume that you're from the hard of understanding side of things.

They have never had a more intelligent chair in all their existence. She isn't interested in promoting herself, she's there for us, Rams fans.  Whoever you were talking about the lefties. You're a fool.

Hilary will take this further than any one can imagine.

You should all be thankful that she's taken this on.

RamsTrust has never been so strong now she's there.

This isn't meant as a disparaging remark, I genuinely dont know the answer, how long has Rams Trust been around and what are its main achievements?
