Derby coming for you

Well the bookies a few weeks ago had the Rams at 40 to 1 to be winners of League one. Last week after beating Cheltenham we was 25 to 1. Now after beating Bolton we are down to 20 to 1. Sheff Weds are favourites, followed by Ipswich then Plymouth, they must be thinking that Plymouth are going to drop off. We are currently the favourites to win the play-offs at 10 to 3 and only 6 to 1 to make a top 2 spot.

Six match form table shows we've made up 2 points on Plymouth and a huge 10 points on Ipswich in 17th.

Ten match form table shows we've lost on 2 points to Sheff Weds, gained 3 points on Plymouth and 8 points on Ipswich.

Crucially we've also been building up the goal differential. Sheff Weds are by far the most consistent and best, with Ipswich losing ground rapidly. Being 14 points behind Plymouth means we'll need around 42 games to catch up with them on the current ground being claimed back.

So we could take Plymouth by December 20th.

It’s incredibly difficult for Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesday not to win games because there are some poor teams in this league if we are honest and even Ipswich have their next set of games against basically the bottom 6 teams. It’s nice to have a chance of catching some teams though

You have to hope as the league starts to 'settle' that those teams towards the bottom put up a fight and mid-table teams 'relax' and play their football (just against others, not us of course!!!) There's a long way to go and plenty of opportunity for others to choke.

Ipswich have their next game against Morecambe who have won their last three games.
