Mucker1884
Get thasen over to Portland. Lovely 5.5 mile circular walk… park up on east coast, follow SWCP clockwise, around the southern coastline, via Portland Bill & back up the west coast, then chop straight across back to the car. Not too strenuous, rugged enough to make it interesting, lots of fresh air and sea views. If you have any cobwebs, they will most certainly be blown away! https://www.southwestcoastpath.org.uk/walksdb/621/

The Boot Inn is a great local pub but there are several pubs around the harbour which are more akin to a weekend away, decent pub grub with harbour views. The town centre is a bit naff but the harbour area is ok. Day

Boycie
All your Weymouth recommendations are rubbish. All he needs to know that there’s 2 Wetherspoons in town. He’s the best bit… one’s over 18’s only. Get ready for the Twitter begs with his table number. watch him deny it.

Rev
Too late to the thread I see, but the area around Oulton Broad, Norfolk/Suffolk is fantastic. Loads to see and do, great public transport if you wish to give the car a rest, the driest place in the UK to boot, and reasonably priced amenities to boot.
