Really want to avoid this. As @Chris_Martin says our gripe is with Gibson, not Middlesbrough. Middlesbrough are a small club, an also ran of English football that has been artifically inflated over the past 25 years by a local boy made good. Pre-Karanka winning them promotion a few years ago, they were regularly getting home gates of 12/13k. Won nowt & are seen as the 'Leicester' of the North East i.e. ignored local club by the big two clubs up there. They'd love nothing more than to have a 'rivalry' with us. Let the clowns sing what they like, they're just relishing using the EFL as their fluffer. Won't benefit them for much longer though.
