Black ('n' White) Sheep
If Ashley's still in (and I've seen nothing to suggest that he's pulled out) then we have a bidder still there who's got the financial clout. He'll just be wanting to get the best deal... you don't get rich in the first place by spending more money than you need to. Day
Better to have a club on -15 next season than no club at all, you would have to assume there are potential better offers on the table for the administrators to end talks. £30m for both the club and stadium was such a low ball offer, knowing that it's £20m for the stadium itself. angieram, DCFC1388, Pikeyram and 5 others 6

One of the long-term interested parties to buy Derby County say the Championship club's administrators have ended discussions with them after deciding their latest £30m offer was too low. This sounds positive news... I think. Caerphilly Ram, r_wilcockson and Indyram

Yani P
Didn't Rooney say he wasn't expecting the actual takeover to complete until after the new season starts or was that just his concern?

derby8
bbc reports Binnie £30m for club and stadium not enough looking for nearer £50m. So that gives the others a range to look at, including the stadium apparently.

LazloW
“We increased our offer to £30m for Derby as a whole," Adam Binnie told BBC Sport. I know its seen better days but £30m for the whole City seems a bit stingy. duncanjwitham
"It was felt the sum accurately reflected the reduced status of Derby following the sale of players during the January transfer window..." That line should maybe make a few people think, especially those who were criticising the admins for not selling more players and slashing costs.
