Here's what you hear from Roos supporters:

Anybody could have made that mistake.

He was put in a poor situation.

It's not his fault he has a poor team in front of him.

He's good at distributing the ball.

Yawn

A good shot stopper like he is, will have all sorts of excuses being given on his behalf because when he makes a good save it looks great.

But the guy is incompetent on the overall scale. The design may be have been poor, but only because Rooney expected his team/keeper  to do the basics.

Roos can't do the basics. Get him out. We're going down so let's roll the dice on a compromising youngster because he's an utter waste is space.

Derby play long ball football (last season) - whine and blame Rooney based on results.

Derby play passing football (this season) - whine and blame Rooney based on results.

Roos 100% for their first, Sunday league control. Stop blaming the manager.

Couldn't the manager "suggest" when to do what?

Who tells them to do it? Who’s tactic is it?

How about coaching the team to play the situation?

If the opposition aren't pressing, play out from the back.

If the opposition are pressing, play a bit longer.

Is it really not that simple?

What's the gain?

When have we ever benefited from doing it?

Is that a serious question?

He's trying to improve the quality of the football we play. Can you not see that?

We're down, he knows that. He's trying to instill proper football.

Adopting long ball would be so ducking easy. I admire that he isn't.
