Bird showed real danger in the first 20 with some penetrating balls and as you say was then shut down. But he worked hard in defence and found more space in the second half as they tired. Love his balance on the ball, vision and composure. Another masterclass by Max Bird. Been critical of him but I also thought that Sibley looked half decent today too.
