Was OK but not inspired away performance against a polish team who raised their game. We still lack a change of gear particularly in midfield. Brought up on the days of only 1 sub, and only bring him on if there is an injury, but the game has changed so much. Poland brought on 5 fresh players in the last 20 mins or so and they got the rewards for that endeavour. Southgate made none and made no effort to counteract those substitutions from Poland, thankfully no real damage done, just thousands of Poles celebrating at a draw just like the Scots did Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
