I opened it up to the fairer sex duck, welcome aboard.  Only took 8 days for a lady to get involved.

Now we all feel like sexist pigs because you lot couldn’t be bothered. ?

Steady on Captain Caveman, with yer fairer sex patter and lady talk.

I selected candidates of both sexes in my first post, maybe you need a course of diversity awareness training?

This thread is a bit one sided.

I would like to add Stuart Damon (The Champions)

Richard Chamberlain (Doctor Kildare)

and Steve Zodiac (Fireball XL5). ?

Oh The Champions! I so loved Sharon McCready (real life Alexandra Bastedo) but here's a still from the pilot episode so we can admire both of them.

Amanda Burton when she was in Brookside.

Victoria Principal in Dallas

Surprised you didn't add Cherie Lunghi to that list - all of the same ilk.

Jacqueline Bisset surely needs a mention on here as well. All time first crush for me though was Jean Simmons in Spartacus, closely followed by Amanda Barrie in Carry on Cleo. Young hormones are like baby geese, they latch onto the first thing they see.

Ah well, if it's slightly exotic, completely unattainable ladies from films in your childhood then my favourite was Claudia Cardinale.....

I know it's been a bit 'more bad news' this week so maybe a couple more memories to lighten the soul

Joanne Whalley and Phoebe Cates anyone? Yes, I did have a 'type'.

Joanne Whalley in willow and scandal

Phoebe cates in gremlins and lace

I love the underrated film with bill Murray with Joanne Walley called the man who knew too little

I thought I was being a bit dodgy saying I first fancied her in her thigh-high boots in Willow....but that's just filth.
