Roos................6. Had nothing to do. Let down by defenders for their goal.

Byrne...............7 Endeavour and crosses galore.

Edmundson.....7 Solid. Neat & tidy.

Mengi...............5. Ditto but lost his chap who scored.

Clarke...............7 Solid.

Forsyth.............7 Solid. 2 headed chances wasted.

Shinnie.............8 MotM. Guts and determination.

Knight..............6 Lacks creativity but scrapped.

Jozwiak...........6 Effort but no real product.

CKR.................7 Plenty of creative effort.

Waghorn.........3 If Waghorn is the answer, what exactly is the question?

Roos 6 - deservedly kept his place after Barnsley. His distribution was decent but in all honesty, he had very little to do all game. Had no chance with the goal

Byrne 7 MOM - good game today. Constantly probed down the right flank & sent over a number of cracking balls especially first half. Linked up well with both Jozwiak & Roberts

Edmundson 6 - solid display & thought he was a bit unlucky to come off

Mengi 5 - he was closest to their lad for the goal & was clearly ball watching. Elsewhere in the first half, he kept turning down opportunities to move the ball through the lines/step into midfield which was a waste given he was the spare man back there. Looked composed at other times but also some incidences of sloppy touches which he was able to recover with his pace

Clarke 6 - didn't have much to deal with aerially. Probably one of his poorer games in possession both from range & also taking the ball into midfield as a left sided CB - looked uncertain on most forays

Forsyth 5 - had the two big chances of the first half & missed both. His crossing was ordinary & he faded badly second half - don't remember him getting involved at all

Shinnie 7 - played well & a brave display. Wanted to get on the ball, moved it through the lines & looked to join in attacking moves. Also provided a lot of bite in midfield & would have been more successful had the ref not allowed Evans to basically foul him with impunity

Knight 5 - poor today & in contrast to Shinnie, he largely shied away from the brave options. Lots of safe passing when better options were ahead & when breaking into space, was too quick to release the ball instead of drawing the man. Deservedly taken off after an hour

Jozwiak 5 - good movement, good touches, terrible decision making. Rinse & repeat. Linked up well with Byrne for our main threat

CKR 5 - felt sorry for him as he was getting no joy from their 3 CBs when the ball did rarely get into the box. Not much into his feet either which is where he is usually so strong

Waghorn 4 - forgot at times he was on the pitch & like Forsyth, disappeared from the game second half. Just don't understand what he is bringing to the team at the minute. Bit odd him playing left side as don't recall last time he played there.

How do you only score one goal in 8hrs of football

Roos 6 Nothing he could do with the goal.

Byrne 7 Good forrays forward. Just a shame no one on the end of them. Supported Joz and Roberts well.

Gudmonson 6 Steady, although could have been more positive with passing out from the back.

Mengi 5 At  fault for the only shot on target and goal conceded.

Clarke 6 Average game, but one of those not being positive.

Forsyth 5 Missed 2 chances and attacking play almost zero

Shinnie 8 MOTM and would have been able to do more if Evans wasn’t allowed inside his pants for 90 mins.

Knight - 4 Poor  Needs dropping for Watson.

Jozwiak - 5 Needs to spend the week on his final ball delivery. Still more of a threat than Waghorn and CKR.

CKR 5 Average again.

Waghorn 3 - Needs dropping for anyone with a heat beat.

Watson- 7 Positive and pass of the game to put Joz in.

Roberts - 7 Unlucky with shots being blocked and put real pressure on their back line.

Sibley- 6 Came closest to scoring and was a massive upgrade in Waghorn.

Ref- 1 Evans should have been sent off twice. Pearce was lucky to stay on as well.
