brady1993 Posted March 13, 2021 Share Posted March 13, 2021 Roos - 7 Solid game again with good distribution Byrne - 8 Thought he was excellent throughout and looked the most likely to do something Gudmonson - 6 Forgot he was playing but was solid. Mengi - 5 Patchy performance with a handful of unpunished errors. Needs to be more positive on the ball. Clarke - 7 A solid performance but it's rare he does anything but this season Forsyth - 6 Bright first half but ultimately needs to score one of his chance Shinnie - 6 This rating feels harsh because it's one his best games for a while but we really needed more finesse from the centre of the park. He tried to get us playing but it's not his game really. Knight - 4 Far too willing to play safe and didn't do enough to help us progress. Jozwiak - 5 Mixed bag once again. Created space for others, linked well, always gives an option but ultimately needs to do more in good positions CKR - 6 Isolated and poor service tried lifting balls into which is always going to be difficult against 3 centre backs. His crossing was ordinary & he faded badly second half - don't remember him getting involved at all Shinnie 7 - played well & a brave display. Wanted to get on the ball, moved it through the lines & looked to join in attacking moves. Also provided a lot of bite in midfield & would have been more successful had the ref not allowed Evans to basically foul him with impunity Knight 5 - poor today & in contrast to Shinnie, he largely shied away from the brave options. Lots of safe passing when better options were ahead & when breaking into space, was too quick to release the ball instead of drawing the man. Deservedly taken off after an hour Jozwiak 5 - good movement, good touches, terrible decision making. Rinse & repeat. Linked up well with Byrne for our main threat CKR 5 - felt sorry for him as he was getting no joy from their 3 CBs when the ball did rarely get into the box. Not much into his feet either which is where he is usually so strong Waghorn 4 - forgot at times he was on the pitch & like Forsyth, disappeared from the game second half. Just don't understand what he is bringing to the team at the minute. Bit odd him playing left side as don't recall last time he played there. Edmonson -6 solid Mengi 5 - ok but lost his man for the ball Clarke 6 - could do with him bringing the ball out more Forsyth 6 - decent first half, two great chances, faded after the break Shinnie 6 - industrious Knight - 4 totally out of form Jozwiak 4 - saw plenty of the ball but terrified of shooting or crossing.
