Way too many were saying things like “write the first few games of the season off, and we’ll see where we are in the new year” earlier in the season. Or “wait until January to sign a new striker to get a better deal”. I know you’ve got to have some level of patience, but you can’t wait around forever. You simply cannot afford to write games off in this division, or you very quickly end up in the position we currently find ourselves in. We’ve sleepwalked to the bottom, and we deserve to be there.
