Agree. 

Getting sacked from Chelsea regardless of what you win is so inevitable it almost doesn't really matter to your reputation nowadays. 

Starting the season terribly with us and getting sacked in the way Rowett has at Stoke for example is much more damaging.

Probably been said but I think it's just his name alone which might get him the Chelsea job rather than 1 season in management and finishing in playoffs by 1 point. He will only tarnish his cv if he rushes to Chelsea too soon and fails (i.e. not top 3 with a cup or two). Crazy.

I think he'll be a success.

not saying that they'll win owt as they have fallen well behind man city, but there is no reason for him not to do a good job.

Nope .. that is worst case scenario. 

Best case we storm the league, which is how he would think ..but he will also assume he goes to Chelsea and does great... regardless of all the doom -mongers saying he won't last 5mins.
