Played in a bit of an Ince type role, bangs some goals in, so we sign him and play him on the opposite wing, then spends most of the next season injured. Never had a chance with us. Absolutely not his fault he has suffered as a result as his career has gone backwards although he’ll have the consolation of a significantly improved bank balance. Will go down as one of the worst deals with done since THAT season, not that that’s his fault mind. Terrible player here sadly so I’m sure he’s glad of a fresh start.
