Derby blood Posted December 23, 2017 Share Posted December 23, 2017 Well it's at the half way point of the season, and who do you think has been our player of the season so far? For me the candidates so far are Carson, Keogh, Davis, Ledley and Vydra. For me it's been captain invincible Mr Keogh, but Davis has got better and better as the season has gone on, and Ledley has been a calming influence in midfield, Vydra has been on fire, and Carsons recent performances has probably made him the best English goal keeper around, so plenty to look forward to in the next 23 games. He might not be the most glamorous of players but he's that good at screening the defence I'm convinced he'd be the first search result if you search "Welsh defensive fortifications". Carson has been as great as he is, Keogh is better than ever, Ledley makes us win and Vydra's scoring streak is awesome. One of those, but it's too hard to pick one yet. Top 5 candidates are :Vydra, Keogh, Carson, Ledley and Davies If Baird and Weimann carry on with their good form then they have a chance of breaking into the top 5.
