I never really paid any attention to transfer gossip, so I don't know if he said anything stupid during negotiations, but other than that his career choices thus far don't suggest he's an arrogant character. He stayed with Blackpool for longer than most other highly rated youngsters would and opted for a mid table premiership team over Inter, presumably because he thought he'd get more first team opportunities.
