opted for a mid table premiership team over Inter, presumably because he thought he'd get more first team opportunities.

He opted for Hull because the Premier League money was far better.

He could have hada great footballing education at Inter where most of it is technical rather than rush hoofball.

Byt he opted to sit around on the bench earning double the amount Inter were offering at a midtable PL club. A mixture of thick, greedy, lazy and gutless spring to mind.

Too easy for bang average English players to make a good living these days. Why don't they try their hand abroad? Simple, money, easy lifestyle and being spineless.are the traits of your average PL footballer these days.

I know the money in the premiership is out of control, but surely Hull aren't paying out higher wages than Inter.

No they aren't, but they were offering more wages to him because Inter clearly didn't rate him as he rated him.

You say opted to, but did he really? Was he actually offered anything to reject or was it all a case of self-publicising bullshit by the tosser that is Paul Ince

He said he was offered a deal but chose Hull to continue his footballing development.

Yeh, footballing development sitting on a bench earning $$$$$

Even so. Anyone on here who claims they wouldn't go to anywhere (even Hull) that was offering significantly more money for the same job is a liar.

Depends really...

It's not just comparable between Hull and say maybe Swansea. It's Inter for f*cks sake. Do well there and you get more than you would at Hull, do poorly, and you go back and get what you could get at Hull.

But we're not talking about us are we, we're talking about a proffesional footballer. Like has already been said, do you have proof Inter actually offered anything??.

For all the hype that surrounded him you'd have thought he'd pick a better club than Hull!!.

Unless of course it was the ONLY offer he actually got and he can't even get into that team.

Incidently they pay the highest wages because the league gets the highest revenue, because

football fans all over Europe and South America love our football and want to watch it.

The watch it because it's the most multicultural - each team tends to have at least 10 nationalities.

Don't kid yourself into thinking people from Mexico enjoy watching Stoke City vs Leicester City, because they don't. In actual fact, many of my friends here follow the Bundesliga more than the Premier League due to its dullness outside the top four.
