Here we go. It will be good to get back to club football.
    Roos
    Byrne       Jagielka       Davies       Buchanan
    Bird          Shinnie
    Sibley        Morrisson          Jozwiak
    Lawrence
Subs: Allsopp  Stearman  Williams Watson Hutchinson  Baldock  Stretton
I'm presuming Ebosele will still be out injured. If he's fit I'd have him on the bench instead of Hutchinson. If Lawrence or Jozwiak aren't 100% for different reasons, switch them to the bench for Baldock.

Wilk be watching this on sky, as its a friday night kick off, looking forward to another Derby performance with guts, effort andvskill, feel if we can keep Deeney quite, which we can, we might nick this one by the odd goal, gping 2-1, to the Rams, Lawrence and Curtis from a corner to send the 1000 travelling fans mad.

Sibley had a really good game at their place last season and scored in the same fixture at the end of the season before so I would be tempted to be staring him. His confidence should be high after his U20 call up as well.

"I think we Derby fans feel that 'they' are out to get us"
    Total paranoia in my view
These people have far more bigger issues on their plate than to be harbouring a grudge against us or anyone else. And they simply don't have the time.
They are acutely aware that they have to be doing the right thing for the EFL as a whole, and rightly so
Its such a little man attitude to complain that you are always being picked on

That depends entirely on how many goals you think are needed. It's not really avoiding a relegation fight I'm bothered about (which seems inevitable), it's avoiding an actual relegation.
I've had a look at teams who have avoided relegation (or better) despite scoring fewer than 50 goals in recent seasons (last season was a particularly low scoring affair all-round)

I came up with list of what I don't think are unrealistic expectations for goals scored by some of our players and came up with a very rough estimate of 43 - a little lower than I'd like in order to feel 'confident' of avoiding relegation, but it's doable, especially if its another low-scoring season all round.
    (Lawrence - 8, Baldock - 7, Stretton - 6, Sibley - 6, CKR - 4, Morrison - 3, Jozwiak - 2, Bielik - 2, Shinnie - 2, Jagielka - 1, Bird - 1, Buchanan - 1)
That is of course assuming we don't lose half of them in January.
By the end of the season this estimate may look wildly ambitious, or maybe we'll exceed that amount (although it's rather unlikely we'll reach 50), but you really don't have top be a particularly high scoring team to stay up, or be comfortable, and sometimes it can be a surprise just how high a team with sub-50 goals scored can finish.

I'm sorry but your view of officials is just so biased.
Based on your match reviews pretty much every game we would end up playing against 7 or 8 men.

Fozzy's past disciplinary record and generally laid-back demeanour makes it hard to believe it was a deliberate act, but as the "stamp" came as a separate action after he'd initially landed, I'm not surprised it's been judged severely.
Football supporters in general are one-eyed when it comes to the actions of their own players and judge the opposition players entirely differently. Forest fans are probably amongst the worst for this kind of hypocrisy, but when one of their biggest icons is Stuart Pearce, that's to be expected.

You have got form for previously stating matters as fact which have subsequently been demonstrated to you to be nothing of the sort.
And you have implied that you have an experience in finance matters that makes you something of an expert
Yet you have been proven to be wrong on some of the most very basic of fundamentals that exist in the financial world
So not only is your credibility questionable, to say the least, you are also proving the old saying that “ a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing”

He's a generous bloke, £1.2m for a robotic surgeon to Derby Hospital that helps the city, saved lives and pumped millions into the football club.
People can dissect his running of the club and they will, but honestly having talked to him on many occasions, he's a decent guy that does care.
I would receive calls just to check up how I was doing during my bad days with anxiety. Was hard to read that he was going through his own health issues.
I'll get hammered for this post but I'm gutted for the guy with how this is ending. Always will.
Won't ever feel comfortable reading people laying into him as a man, but accept that others haven't been as lucky I have to have been able to see that side of him.

I have nothing concrete to back this up TD, but my gut feeling is that, quite some time ago, Mel has decided that enough is enough and that he was no longer prepared to fund anything else at the club, other than the absolute, rock bottom, bare minimum needed to keep it ticking over. I don't think its a question of Mel not being able to afford stuff, he remains a very wealthy man. But he has decided : no more, its time to stop. After a £200m + investment has got him nowhere.
Again, I have no evidence, but I suspect that both Stephen ( the ex FD, now CEO ) and Mel went through an exercise some time back literally reviewing every possible expense in the organisation on a line by line basis. With a ruthless and determined approach to challenge each and every single cost with an aggressive attitude of : can we exist without it or can it be done in another cheaper or non-cost way ?

So, from what we see as supporters  :
No ticket office - can be done online
No concourse tv and other facilities - not necessary
Reduction in back office staff other than ticket office - find another way. eg if you report bad supporter behaviour to the club, you are now directed to the police in the first instance, rather than the club taking the lead in investigating. Notice that all the signs  in the concourses and even loos ,previously encouraging fans to confidentially report unacceptable behaviour to the club, have now disappeared.
I dont know Mel, and I have never met him, but from what I have seen and heard, he certainly seems to be the rare type of individual who has the character and bloody mindedness, to carry out this kind of approach.

Again, just to be clear, this is just my personal theory from what I have observed. Complete conjecture on my part.

Report from The72 on Kamil's performance last night:
"A solid and tidy display by the Derby County winger in what was a runaway win for Paulo Sousa’s side.
He saw a lot of the ball (3.1%) on Poland’s right flank and was accurate (81%) with his distribution, completing 22 of his 27 pass attempts.
He wasn’t afraid to take Albanian players on with the ball at his feet, winning all three of the dribbles he attempted.
He also wasn’t afraid to get stuck in with the defensive side of his game. He made three tackles, one clearance and two interceptions to break up Albania’s play.
All this bodes well for when Derby County return to Championship action with the game against West Brom on September 14th likely the first game he’ll be considered for."
