f*** me. Recovered from Leeds and Villa have we. If you want the the Titanic, get some videos of Worralls defending to go with your Betamax collection of your last time in the top division.  Have you still got the one where Carbonari scored in the 90th minute to send you into a quarter of a century of oblivion.  That's a proper blockbuster.

It’s not over for the playoffs by any stretch but there is no denying today’s RESULT is a body blow.
As for Warne, couldn’t fault him. As for the lads, couldn’t fault them other than not getting the second. Played a really good game and we absolutely battered them. Unfortunately today was one of those days, at precisely the time we don’t need it given what it does to our playoff chances. Immensely frustrating but could only applaud the lads off the pitch, as a performance it was excellent.
And also, anyone thinking Warne is a long ball merchant still, have a word with yourself and watch the game today, hardly a long ball played!!

Terrible result today, but with that domination on any normal day, we'd have won easily. 28 attempts 7 on target which is 2 more than peterborough and Wycombe put together. 10 off target, including one that hit the post and 11 blocked, of which any could have deflected in. That's not including a number of poor decisions made when in good positions. If we could repeat those stats in the remaining 5 games, surely the luck will turn.
We played some decent football for the first time in weeks, hopefully we can build on that.

Couldn't understand the ground emptying when we knew there would be a big chunk of added time, What happened to we fight till the end? Thought both the fans and the players gave up far to soon

There were better than us for sure. Energy all over the pitch, good movement ,quality on the ball, as good a side we've seen at PP this season. Morsy had the freedom of PP. But, 1-1 and it's a different game. What the lino saw, I' ll never know. Commentary on ITV highlights says foul on the keeper and he is standing there on his line with no one around him. Terrible decision.

The incessant cheating in this league (or any league) is ridiculous.  Time wasting from the first goal and going down as if shot for every foul (or just falling over untouched and apparently needing physio's attention every time).  Yes, the ref at least made some bookings, but there could have been a lot more.  I'm sure we're just as guilty but I'd still love to be able to ask the managers whether they're proud of their players for being blatant cheats.
It might help if the refs were up to the job but they aren't.  Today's was a joke.  Notwithstanding the disallowed goal (haven't seen a replay so no idea if justified) he probably didn't have a massive influence on the result; Ipswich were the better team.  Nevertheless, he was awful. Completely out of his depth.
We weren't at it at all for the first 20-25 minutes then started to get a bit of a grip. Second half quite even but thought Ipswich always looked a bit more dangerous.  We didn't create enough.  However, I'm not going to have a mardy about it.  Sometimes you lose to better teams. I also think we're now playing as I thought we might all season; struggling at times against better teams, eking out wins against some teams at our level and occasionally being comfortable against the dross.  I think we've over-performed up to now and the small squad with either quite old or quite young players is creaking.  We obviously needed more in January but option were very limited.  I still think we'll sneak into the playoffs and that would be a major achievement given where we started from.

Just got back from the game - that was the result I expected before the game started.
After 20 mins I feared it would be a lot worse than that. The team tried but we lost to a better team simple as!
They have had the same manager for 18 months and strengthened in several transfer windows - during which they have spent a considerable amount of money.
No disgrace for us at all today, it’s disappointing but hardly surprising!

Circumstances conspired to feck us up, Mason Mount missing for circa 10 games, A 6' 6" keeper out done by a 5' 6" midfielder in the final, A manager that didn't play his best forward at the time in the final, Pretty boy swanning around the Med with friends while we hung on to any tiny bit of news of when he's going to feck off, Decision made and the poor Dutchman given no time to get his shyte together.
Hence the beginning and end of our demise, The rebuild has started with a man who's got DCFC at his heart, From little acorns do mighty oaks grow, Might not be this season...but it will happen 👍

Adored the man when he was in his pomp, smashing goals and much bigger defenders around the park.  I always got the feeling him and Arthur had a strained relationship.  Bobby absolutely loved the the fans when he was here, but maybe his eventual departures tainted his view of the club - I hope not.  After seeing the club on the brink and slipping into the old third division, these were my favourite days growing up, going home and away every week.  Football Specials, Cards, Pubs, Pork Pie, and always plenty of Beer - We seemed to have thousands of like minded lads who all came together.   Memories we cherish forever.
Bobby has been a pundit on Radio Derby a few times in the past, but I felt he was somewhat over critical - sad to learn he is a baggage handler.  He was a pro-footballer at the wrong time.
"So here's to you Bobby Davison, Derby loves you more than you will know !" - Great line and exactly how I feel.
    Whooa Bobby Bobby ...
    Cheers
