Predictably Cross Country rail has put on four carriages for the train from Plymouth to Edinburgh which carries not only Bristol Rovers fans but hundreds getting away for the weekend.
I can barely breathe.
Packed out on our two carriage train from Crewe. No change there!

This is not a dig at anyone, Fleetwood away, Our dressing room was left clean and tidy and all waste put in the bin, I was impressed, Maybe we are to nice ?♀️
Maybe we need to be nastier on the pitch but still tidy up afterwards? No need to take a dump in the dressing room (except at Leeds maybe).

Approximately 4,200 tickets left so should be a decent crowd of between 27 and 28K (with 3K BR fans). Hope the majority are entertained!

What has been noticeable this season is that Sibley has been far more restrained when provoked by opposition players, which is a good thing although it is a balance, as some have pointed out his aggression (channelled correctly) is one of his strong points. At Accrington, I noticed that their no.6 took every opportunity to wind him up and it was good to see he just ignored it and let his football do the talking. Disappointing to see he followed up with quite poor performance against Ipswich, but personally, I would stick with him as he can cause havoc in the opposition's defence when on song.

Back in the car, waiting for the traffic to die down. We were nowhere near as bad as some on here have suggested, but it was galling to lose to an avoidable error. Oh well on to the next game.

Terrible journey here, but we made it nearly 5 hours later. Bumped into Terry Butcher and George Burley.

Ipswich are better than anyone we've played so far and I think the way we set up will leave our back three exposed, Ipswich to win relatively comfortably I think.
I'd actually have had more faith in some sort of result in this game playing the Rosenior way, purely because we'd have had more of the ball.
If we end up in a basketball match as has been the pattern under Warne Ipswich are good enough to punish us for it properly.
30 odd shots v Lincoln without scoring would suggest they might not be, but agree that this will be the toughest test this season and I'll be happy with a point. The long journey begins in a couple of hours!

It was my 1st season I could actually go to games as I left school and got a job so could afford it, the next 4 years were all better than the previous with us ending up 5th wasn't it in 89.... would have been Europe if it hadn't of been for the scousers getting us banned from playing
Must be similar ages, as like you I had my first job and went to as many games as my wage and young person's railcard would allow. The following seasons were the best, but I was then a student down south and couldn't get to as many games as i would have liked.

Good work. Really shows how we fell away mid season in 84-85. This was the time I went to the most games that I have been to in a season and turned out to be the worst placing in our history, typical!

Can we play Collins here if he’s still suspended for league games?
I thought we could as the 3 game suspension only applies to league games. Could be wrong.

Can only emphasise the positive comments about the hospitality and friendliness of ASFC during the best away day of the season so far. Great atmosphere in Coleys pre match with home and away fans mixing with no problems. Shame there was no real ale on tap, but the beer and pies were good and reasonably priced behind the away seated area.
I made the cardinal error of leaving Coleys back out of the entrance to go and look around the rest of the ground, and my ticket would not scan a second time. Fortunately the steward was fine about it, but it was a strange system with no turnstiles in the away end and being escorted to the seats past the terrace. Overall a great day out and credit to ASFC for creating such a positive and friendly atmosphere, some of the 'bigger' clubs could learn a thing or two including ourselves.

Okay, away ticket experts, where exactly are these tickets at Liverpool? Tiers 6, 7, 8, 9.
Will they be high up with Liverpool fans below us?
Cannot find anything on the Liverpool FC website, so I guess we will have to wait until we see the seating plan, when the tickets go on sale.
