24Charlie got a reaction from Comrade 86 in November games moved for Sky
What really annoys me is when a weekend fixture gets moved to Monday. I have a season ticket and accept that I cannot make week day games as I don’t live in Derby during the week. But Monday night is not a weekend. I can manage a Friday night but Monday night is just infuriating.
duck off Sky. I hate everything about that company.

Maybe it’s specifically the championship. But knowing that, now I want the -21pts. duck Bournemouth, anything they can do, we can do better.

Bournemouth survived a -17 deduction in league 2 in 2008 so I don’t understand this notion that minus 12 has never been done. Perhaps -12 hasn’t been done as in exactly -12 but as Bournemouth proved more that has survived. It was Eddie Howe who pulled that off.
There’s a documentary on YouTube about it. I think it might even be called -17.

24Charlie got a reaction from archram in Rams vs Reading Matchday Thread
Some may be but most of the people who can't get their heads round the punter unfriendly way Derby are selling tickets don't have twitter accounts to moan on. They don't even have a PC. It's for the club to make things easy and having the ticket office closed all that time and even now only open twice a week was and is bonkers.
The club have missed the boat on a lot of OAP renewals as they normally wander down to the ticket office once a year to renew their season ticket. They have not been able to do that so as the season started and them not being able to get a ticket they've just left it.
There is still a need for analogue and it looks like it's cost DCFC 4k season ticket holders for not giving a toss about them.

I do agree with that.
My point above was if you can't create a ticketing account online, you're not likely to be using twitter to moan about it!

Point A: Where humour and decency meet.
Point B: Where offence and abuse meet.
The line must always connect Point A with Point B.
However, the line does not need to be straight, or run directly between the two points. Neither does it need to be regular, symmetrical, or have angled diversions. It may meander twixt the two, and is often curved in its natural form, most often resembling a wave, with multiple curves, troughs, and peaks.
In modern times, it is not inconceivable to draw a double line, each of which can be of indeterminate thickness, thus failing to pin-pointing a definitive/specific boundary. Double lines do not need to remain parallel throughout their entirety, therefore are not always of the same length.
Hope that cleared that up for you! ?

£139.
19 home games left is about £7.30 a game which is a lot but it’ll save me getting drenched or frozen as I walk back over to Chad where I used to park my car. Getting old I suppose.
l’ll listen to RD post match in the car while I wait for the traffic to die down a bit.

I’ve bought a season car park ticket. Still 67 left in car park A and 80 odd in car park B.
B is best for access to the city and London Road. A is better for access to the A52.

The flippant attitude to drugs, taken even by some on here, makes my blood boil.
It destroys people. It makes us less safe because the police spend all their time dealing with drugs, the effects of drugs and the crime caused by addicts trying to get money the pay for drugs.
Me, I’’d get death penalty tough on suppliers and long long prison terms on dealers even if they are only carry two bags and that includes cannabis.

24Charlie reacted to Carnero in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
The only bargaining chip the EFL has, that they wouldn't have the bottle to threaten the PL with, is to turn off promotion & relegation from EFL to PL & PL to EFL.
Doing this would make 90% of PL games effectively dead rubbers, ruining the PL entertainment and lowering their broadcasting revenue.
The PL would soon come back with a fairer deal for all.

Bit of Elgar blaring out from the speakers before the game. Guaranteed to gird any Englishman loins for the fight to come.

24Charlie reacted to SillyBilly in The Stadium
Key word Mel uses is "invests". It certainly isn't "gifted". So I am interested to see the verdict when our resident accountants go over the numbers to see what he has actually done. How much cash has he injected into our club...remains to be seen. This £200M he keeps referring to and the media has picked up on, in the fullness of time we will see what that number actually translates to for the club, not his own "investment". The legacy of potentially (I use the word potentially to reserve judgement for the final outcome) separating club and stadium will ultimately define Mel's tenure. I am not impressed at the moment it has to be said.
