No i don't know the guy,but i have seen him emblazoned all over the back pages when he signed Lampard / Rooney but when the going gets tough he makes the various supporters groups sign a NDA and has the audacity to say if fans start booing him he could walk away.That tells me all i need to know about the guy.

Words fail me. Look at what he has done to this club in 6 short years, look at the state we are in both on and off the pitch. He is the sole architect of this chaos. 
He will eventually walk away from the mess he has created with his fortune very much intact while our club will be lucky to survive.
We owe him nothing but contempt for what he has done. 

I'm sorry, but I simply cannot ignore the state in which Morris will be leaving the club when he finally sells it. He is leaving it in a much, much worse state than when he took it. A couple of trips to Wembley didn't pan out, but that's football. The club is an absolute shambles as it stands when compared with the well run, sensible club he purchased.

Mel is solely responsible for where we are, he obviously wanted us to make the Prem..he is a fan after all and it's a project any of us would relish if we had the finances to do it.
The Academy is a fantastic asset that has had to serve us well in recent times. 
But he has failed in his Project and he has managed it abysmally in recent times. His vanity project (some might say) is hopefully almost at an end but are we any nearer to finding a buyer? All I hope is that we survive this period and manage to remain in the league this season. That will be a massive achievement for Rooney, his backroom team and the players. 
Mel will not be looked back on fondly by a great many fans for what he has done with DCFC, others as seen in this thread will give him some credit for giving it a go. I personally just want him gone so that we can just focus on the game and our club.

That's about right really.  Rooney can't be blamed for having such a poor and inexperienced team to deal with, whereas, this whole fiasco is down to Morris' abysmal tenure

It’s clear to see that Mel has abandoned us, rooney and the players. When we eventually do protest either in the game or after the game. I don’t want to see any abuse aimed at rooney. Yes you might not think his tactics are good or whatever you want to criticise him about. But at the end of the day he’s been abandoned. Not allowed to renew contracts. Not allowed to sign players. Promises of takeovers. He should walk tbh. It’s a shitshow. The real problem here isn’t the players or the management. It’s the people at the top MM and SP. there are who we demand answers from. They have severed the ties between the fans and themselves

We need clarity from right at the top. Mel this is directed at you. We as supporters need to know wtf is going on at our club right now. We’ve got a ‘superstar’ manager that seems clueless and is publicly stating that his hands are tied with transfers. The season starts in 2 weeks and we haven’t made a single signing and still have 0 Center backs. The club feels in free fall and it’s down right disrespectfu but you don’t care because you know we the fans will still buy our tickets and merchandise. Either sort this poo out this season and sell a championship or good luck trying to sell a league 1 club for a twix and a Mars bar 

I think any of us not mentioned by page 5 would have to be classed in the "forgettable" bracket as a manager - And I can't decide whether actually that might be the exact kind of manager we need right now ?
 
Personally I'm going for @angieram with B4 as assistant - I feel like the sense of pragmatic optimism is needed from a manager right now and then the unrestrained love for the club from an assistant should permeate well into the playing squad
If players can't get themselves in the mood after B4 has given them a pep talk I genuinely don't know what else would

Interested to hear peoples thoughts about at what point do you decide enough is enough and you cancel your season ticket? There will always be those who say they'll fork out £500 a season because in their eyes they're the most loyal supporter...of which you're a chairman's dream!
Me personally, I refuse to be served up a poo sandwich. I won't be committing my money to watch a bunch of kids turn out and get turned over week in week out if we fail to invest in the playing squad. I don't think that makes me a glory supporter... but I don't think I'll have the right to complain each week if I buy a ticket knowing that the squad is under funded and left in a state. Effectively,  you know that you're getting yourself in for!

Not really a suprise is it. I don't blame him. Why would you bother with it? Broken promises, failed takeovers, embargos, no transfer funds, a small squad, another season of struggle. We are a complete and utter joke.
