Longeatonram2020 got a reaction from Jram in Tom Lawrence
Daft to let him go. Not getting a player of his quality in our situation and despite the fans generally not liking him, he is capable of 10+ goals and assists if he stays fit.
As said, he gets a lot of stick, but at least he has the balls to go at players, try and beat players and shoot at goal which very few of our squad will do. Players like him out wide will go missing at times, sometimes for whole games. But if he had the consistency of performing as we know he can 7-8/10 games, he certainly wouldn’t be at Derby.

Seems a bit of a knee jerk reaction to write off Joz after one game of a season, especially considering he hasn’t had a full pre season.
I feel it is fair to judge after 10/15 games when he has reached full fitness.

Hope the fans get behind Roos, scapegoated a lot. When he played last season he was pretty solid with very few errors, but with the Wembley howler I know a lot are still quick to get on his back.

Longeatonram2020 got a reaction from Fla Ram in Jozwiak
Backing him for a big season. Just needs a run of games and not being taken off after an hour every game he starts, showed what he can do for Poland if he hugs the touchline.
Would also help to get some bodies in the box, as whenever he did get in good positions last season he had CKR to aim at with 4 players round him. Come on Joz!

Longeatonram2020 got a reaction from kevinhectoring in POTY - vote for Bielik
Would love us to go and sign Matt Clarke, along with another solid centre back. He’s had a good season again baring in mind he’s played 2 different systems with about 8 defensive partners this season.
Wisdom, Davies,
Te Weirik, Mengi, Edmundson, Evans, Forsyth off top of my head. imagine how he’d do with a regular partner!
As for POTY it’s between Clarke Bielik and Byrne, probably just about go for Byrne but Bielik was phenomenal when fit.

Remember McLaren replacing Clough. Took a team that had just finished a few places above the relegation zone to playoff contenders with only a few tweaks to the playing staff.

Premiership ability with League One consistency, that’s why he’s with us and not at a higher level. I do think he’s scapegoated a lot and often unfairly down to his obvious ability.
Think he needs better players round him to be fair as this season he’s been one of very few players willing to play forwards with the ball regularly. But when it doesn’t work out he’s targeted by fans, but players like him that have a go are always going to be inconsistent at this level of football.
