Here's what you hear from Roos supporters:
Anybody could have made that mistake.
He was put in a poor situation.
It's not his fault he has a poor team in front of him.
He's good at distributing the ball.
    Yawn
A good shot stopper like he is, will have all sorts of excuses being given on his behalf because when he makes a good save it looks great.
But the guy is incompetent on the overall scale. The design may be have been poor, but only because Rooney expected his team/keeper  to do the basics.
Roos can't do the basics. Get him out. We're going down so let's roll the dice on a compromising youngster because he's an utter waste is space.

This may be the worst analogy I've seen on this forum so far.
No one takes on a mortgage as a gamble, it's a long term investment of low risk for both the borrower and the lender, and the basis of our home owning society.
Mel's done the opposite, gambled with money he does have, then walked away to let taxpayers, businesses and quite shamefully, in my opinion, two different ambulance services bear the pain, one state owned, one a charity ffs.

I could agree with the statement….. but considering this is the first Mel negative post I’ve made, I felt it was time to vent my frustration with him in writing.

If you were able to vent about Mel when it was fresh and trendy, then I tip my hat to you sir!

I rarely use the angry emoji, in fact, I just checked how often I have used it and it turns out I’ve used it four times since they were introduced. I can’t confirm when that was, suffice to say, it was a fair while ago.
I used it in this instance because I objected to your post telling people what they should post and when. It might be boring to you but as new information comes to light, and today, the BBC were running an article about us owing 29 million quid (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59358676) people should be free to make reference to this news and the person responsible for allowing it to occur.
Secondly, and you were the unfortunate to be on the receiving end of my mood at that moment, I had been sickened by the “David, can you tell me how to donate, I want to donate a hundred quid/David I’d like to know if the direct debit I’ve set up is enough? kind of posts I’d read just prior to reading your post.
Ive donated to the running costs of the forum in the past, even bought a dcfcfans tee shirt with the most ridiculous rams head logo I’ve ever seen because I thought it might be supporting the forum, but I never made an issue over either, that was between me and the proprietor of the forum.
So, while I stand by the reaction I gave your post, another day I might have just rolled my eyes and thought “who does he think he is telling people what and when to post” I do concede what I’d read just prior to reading your post probably influenced my thinking.

Much improved performance today & the players showed their fight again.
I know he gets alot of criticism & called lazy but I must say Lawrence absolutely ran his socks off, also got another assist. I know everyone else did too but just thought given the critcism aimed at him id single him out.

Brilliant result!! I was expecting us to lose by a fair margin today and our lads have achieved a draw against all odds and have made us proud again. I think we played well enough to have won but all I need to see is 100% effort. Disappointed that decisions went against us and that we didn't score more goals when we were so dominant but bearing in mind the result last week against Blackburn I think we were brilliant today. Well done to everyone including the away supporters - you were great.

Shame about the last minute, thought we scored. Didn’t deserve anything anyway. Looked very poor tonight. Gifted second goal. Didn’t start playing until 87 minutes. Barnsley should have had a peno. Abject performance. Ebosele looked bright. Morrison on the ball a lot. Disjointed everywhere.
    Relegation form and performance. Awful

Best interests to stay at a club that wasn't able to sign players for most of the summer, had a chairman that refused to communicate with him, couldn't even use his own youth players & then suffer a 12 point deduction for decisions taken elsewhere?
No, I dont think that stands up to scrutiny.
Re new owners, Rooney would be a key reason why they'd be minded to look at Derby as an investment. Therefore its unlikely any new owner would be looking to replace Rooney for some time.
As for the fans, yes some have short memories but quite frankly if fans demand loyalty from their managers & players, they should show it in reverse. Incidentally, I dont think we're anywhere near a 'playing crisis'...just talking hypothetically.

Ah, the search for the magic solution. Sack enough managers enough times and you're bound, eventually, to land one that clicks.
How do you think we got into the situation we are in? Knee-jerk reactions.
Back the manager Sack the manager Pay off the manager Hire the manager Repeat ad nauseum. The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
