I wonder if NSPCC could bung us a few quid to help pay Ronaldo's wages for a couple of seasons?
That would be a bit of a coup. ?
Not worth it as Magicman would say he was a load of ? ?

Don’t remind me - I had Derby to win 1-0 with Ian Taylor to score first my £5 was turning into rather a lot more £5 s until that happened
I was in the concourse helping someone who had collapsed at the moment he scored so I didn’t even see it ?♂️
Probably the person who had £100 on for Poom to score the equaliser in injury time

Yep. I’m in Bristol.
Could you get a friendly DCFC Rams bod to collect and post to you. Or meet you at the ground if they have a ticket themselves ? Same for @BodminRam

How are you getting on Bob Badge ?

A worker at Nestlè was trapped for 3 hours under a pallet of chocolate after colleagues ignored his cries for help.
Apparently every time he called out the “milky bars are on me “ they just clapped and cheered .

After 9 league games:
LR: P9, W4, D2, L3, F9, A9, Pts 14.
PW: P9, W4, D3, L2, F14, A7, Pts 15.
Position when LR left: 7th, level on points with the play-offs.
Position now: 8th, one point off the play-offs.
Has Warne been an improvement so far?? My assessment is: Home form: worse. Away form: better. Goals scored: better. Points: marginal improvement. League position: No improvement.
Should Warne be sacked on the basis of his first 9 League games?? I personally don't think so. Should Rosenior have been sacked/let go on the basis of his first 9 League games?? I also think no.
Scored more and conceded less that seems to be progress

Funny one Mark Lillis. If he hadn't have got injured straight away, Arthur was intending to pair him with Bobby Davison. So we would have never had the Davison/Gee partnership
I couldn’t understand why Arthur sold Trevor Christie to buy Lillis. To be fair the only goal Lillis got for us was a cracking diving header and won 3 points.

Had an argument with a bloke in the pub earlier. He told me I don't know anything and that I couldn't even name 3 Qatar players.
I said, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and Slash.
That joke isn’t striking the right chord on this thread

Well, fans can't always agree. I've been pleased the Club survived to start the season. Fairly negative about Warneball, but generally positive. Tonight I thought was awful. Outplayed by an out-of-form team. Memorable only for a McGoldrick tackle that was so late he missed his Red Card by about a whole second.
Your verdict seems to be at odds with the majority on here

Showing my age now but years ago Southampton had a guy called Ron Davies at No.9 Boy could he head a ball. The thing I remember when I was watching Derby at the Dell was that he started his run outside the box for every corner. By the time he reached the ball he was at full height in the air approching the ball like a missile. Absolutely leathel in the air. Your point about the standing start took me back.
Newcastle had a similar CF in the 70’s Wyn Davies. Brute of a player
