Good 20 minutes, should have scored 2-3 goals. Completely sat off Serbia for an hour and the centre halves kept us in the game. Ball retention was appalling and England just made a meal of. They dug in and just got over the line.
Sounds like Derby 😏
It was exactly like Derby but we usually got it back together after that phase of losing it

Starting to see a couple of players secure moves who wouldnt have suprised me if they'd have rocked up here, and I'm sure over the next couple more will move too.
Dont know if to be excited (we are pursuing higher up) or very nervous (we cant compete with Wendies/Oxford).
No poss not financially but hopefully for those that come last years togetherness and that last day will play a part in wanting to be part of it

Going on the most recent one, the split second where Bird lines up outside the box, you hear “SHOOOT”, then silence, then the net ripple, then the roar of celebration.
Before that when Marriott dinked it over Casilla at Elland Road.
Hendrick at the City Ground in 2011.
Pearson vs West Brom.
Hard to beat that recently after the trials of administration. But as others mentioned bielik goal after the march and marriott goal at elland road (wasnt there even)
but for pure emotion just walking out into the ground first game after we were rescued from administration has it for me

10 years ago those US billionaires all wanted a house by the water in Nantucket. Now they want a football club with players who swear all the time and fans who fight and pee on the pavement
I am sure they still have the Nantucket estate aswell!

Finding and signing that gem of a striker would help or perhaps he is already here and was out on loan. Effective Striker this year more key than ever

No last season's rumour thread was just that and entertaining summer reading and the other is supposed to be posters like old ben suggesting signings but this year all muddled in other one.

I'd say Derby is no worse than many other small cities.
The Museum of Making is an internationally award-winning museum.
The Pickford collection is world-renowned for being hosted in the city.
Our engineering past and present is awe-inspiring.
Festivals like Format and Feste attract thousands to the city.
Derbion, not to everyone's tastes, but is an excellent shopping destination.
Darley, Markeaton and Allestree parks all in walking distance, Peaks and Dales a short drive.
Yes, St Peters St had a drug problem, but has improved from 5-10yrs ago. It still needs help, lots of empty shops but no different to any other city.
Huge numbers of homes are being built in the city centre, the Goods Yard is being rebuilt, a new performance venue is imminent, as is a new business school.
It's not perfect, but efforts are being made to improve it and if you are linked to the city, it would be better served by not running it down all the time.
Articles like the Which one are lazy, reductive and usually written by sneering journalists who haven't left London in a decade. So yes, Derby isn't as easy to get around as the capital, and it doesn't have the same level of cultural facilities, perhaps investment in our region that matches what other regions receive would help.
And it's a far better place than Stoke at the very least!
I agree. Not living in Derby and having undertaken many sports events trips with my children and Uni open day visits to UK cities over the last few years, I agree its no worse than lots of others and much better than many. Most cities have good bits and bad bits and city centres generally are in decline matching the reduced income with increased working from home and people moving out during of post covid. Many cities with large soulless shopping centres have suffered in the areas outside of them. Huge mistake building them. Anyway around Derby is just lovely, its so central and the people are wonderful. If its so bad strange so many ex-players stay in the area.

Probably mid-table but hopefully with sparks of brilliance along the way from the young hungry-for-success players we're signing as they gel as a team ready for the promotion push the following year
