Aside from our labours, thought the ref v Crewe didn’t “buy”any petty rolling around and did his best to let the game flow today.

Why can’t any of our attacking players kick the ball properly when shooting?

This is really poor. Bradley doing what Bradley does best. Amazing how his good game for us came against a team who didn’t get in our half.

I would have a look at ejaria (spelling) at reading. Can play anywhere across a front 3. Creative. Skillful. Pace. Assists. Goals.
Currently out-of favour there massively due to "attitude" however a few reading fans seem to think thats not the whole truth and some sort of contract trigger or payment trigger is forcing reading not to play him and they are throwing him under the bus.
Loan deal with view to a permanent?
    Yes please.

You need to up your parenting skills. Life isn’t about fun and good times. It’s sheer drudgery and constant disappointment. It’s clear what will help prepare your daughter for the adult world. Supporting successful sports teams is for losers. Where’s the character building in that?

I have been thinking hard and have come up with a positive about the Warne era - we don’t take those stupid goal kicks where we pass it twice inside our own 6 yard area, putting calamitous defenders under undue pressure before aimlessly hoofing it anyway. I for one will be enjoying our goal kicks tomorrow night. The rest I am not so sure about but credit where it is due.

    Washington,  Waghorn

That is Warne’s team. His signings.
I think Nyambe and Nelson are excellent. Vickers we can’t really judge. Ward and Fornah, the jury is out. Waghorn is someone’s mate who makes the numbers up. But that is his team. Does anyone think that is better than an 11 that was already here? I don’t. I wouldn’t  want him spending any of my money.

There's no way he can stay.
If I owned the club and there were no fans to consider, I'd give him another month to make the squad gel and decide at the end of November whether to sack him or give him until April. The season is still salvageable and it's normal for teams to struggle with such a high turnover.
The problem is he's lost the fans. Now failure is guaranteed. The atmosphere in the dressing room will be difficult enough, but as soon as things go a bit wrong on the pitch, the players will really struggle to cope with the toxic atmosphere in the ground. Under those circumstances, team cohesion dissappears, the players become overly cautious and their energy levels drop.
Warne could be saved by a good run, but the hostility of the fanbase will make that impossible. Players get paid a fortune because, to people like us, football is so much more than 22 men kicking a bag of wind around. We spend our cash because we care. Football needs emotional attachment, and it's a facet of that which makes Warne's position untenable.
It's best for everyone if he goes now.

Having heard Warne’s post match interview, I am convinced he’s the man for the job. He clearly knows what the problem is, his signings have on the whole been outstanding and there is a clear game plan that is evident on the pitch. He’s a real leader and has the backing of the players and a tactical understanding second to none in this league. He’s not responsible for our flaws. I think we can all agree he’s aware of what’s missing and would have addressed it if he had had a couple of transfer windows different to the ones he did have. Let’s get behind him - he’s the man and he wears hats!
