As long as there were no big surprises for DC after admin, presumably any Bielik payments etc were known about, surely these numbers are to be expected by the company and prob more importantly the EFL. Presumably they have seen them before publication and are happy in accordance with what they expected coming out of admin and our business plan or cant imagine we would have been able to sign someone on a fee yesterday. 
 
cements my total admiration for DC and his family as they have gone from running a successful development company on a low key basis and enjoying being normal rams fans (if actually we can ever be normal) to taking all of this 💩on to deal with. Can you imagine the stuff he's had to deal with?  And after all that you have fans moaning about us not signing people, going over snd over the words the poor bloke said on the budget for this year forensically, and how terrible last January's window was, etc.
the accounts wont tell half the story but to me there are no words to describe what David Clowes and his family did for all of us, the club and the City. I also dont think we know just how close we were to being gone. Also in strange way grateful to Kirchner as if DC had not already been involved with knowledge of what was going on when just buying the stadium, would he have been in a position to act so quickly to save us?

This just cements DC’s hero status for me.
Of course the first few months out of admin  won’t be representative of the rest of his tenure and as @angieramsays there may be Bielek money etc in that loss.
However when you see someone running a successful, mid-size, profitable property company lurching into a business like football where it’s so difficult to turn a profit…….all for the sake of us…..you have to doff your cap.

Before the mistake I thought elder was having a good game tbh. The cross was delightful for the second I just wanted to see him carry the ball a bit more but like with everything it doesn’t matter if he was good for that period the mistake will live long in the memory because of how bad it was and costly 

Hourihane may have scored the winning goal but, in my opinion, Bird contributed a lot more in terms winning the ball particularly in the first half. Hourihane did OK but it takes more than scoring a goal to win a game. That’s what often annoys me about “man of the match” awards. It often goes to a goal scorer (a la last night - there is no way Barks was the best player last night) as if any other contributions count for nothing.

Seems we have moved on from the Warne bashing to the players. We are on one of the best runs in our history and still we seem intent on finding fault with something.
Bird never more than a championship player...FFS we are in league one, CH did more than Bird...they play for the same side, they are different players. Barks was rubbish, he scored and set one up, we didn't control the game, yes we did bar a period between their goals when they threw caution to the wind.
Yes we can improve performance wise, but all that matters is getting out this league and another 3 points goes towards that.

There are some parallels between our case and Forest's, not that many Dogs would like to admit it here.
Derby were in communication with the EFL throughout selling the stadium, all accounts were submitted and processed. Believed everything was fine.
Likewise, Forest in communication with the PL throughout, clearly thought they would be fine.
Both clubs tell the fans they will be fine, we think it's fine, all articles are pure clickbait.
Both clubs proceed to be charged.
Both clubs turn to Nick De Marco.
Both fans think now they will be fine now Nick's on the case.
We were docked points.

Obviously the parallels end there as everything went tits up our end going into admin, non payment of HMRC etc. etc.
Part of me wants you to be docked points, finish the season on 10 points and have a decade of arguments over who is the real worst team ever in the Premier League. Singing worst team in history at each other next season. 
At the same time, it just stinks.
It stinks whilst others continue to flaunt the rules for example Man City. 
It stinks if Forest were telling the truth and the PL were in the know the entire time and didn't say, oi, no you can't do that, now it's oi you can't do that.
I find it hard to believe that whoever has been making decisions was told no and continued regardless, unless advised that the punishment for doing so would be minimal by external legal team?
I don't want you lot to go down on a points deduction the same way we did, your players, staff, fans don't deserve that for waiting 6 months or whatever it was for more money. It's not right. 
Rivalry says I should be takin the piss, laughing, finding it hard when you're just another club as where I say the players, staff, fans are getting screwed over for something between a boardroom and governing body.
Look at the way the EFL have treated Reading compared to ourselves, with the independent regulator looming the PL will use both you and Everton to show they can handle it themselves. It's an easier fight than taking on a state backed club where money talks.
Saying all that, who the hell sanctioned that Jonjo Shelvey arrival and departure, dear me. 🤣🤣
 
 

Been watching the Rams since Brian was in charge, why is it we have to be 4 goals up before I can come out from behind the settee and enjoy it ! ? 

Rules are rules and if we’re in breach of them, that’s on us. That’s a failure in ownership, and let’s be honest, an hugely inconsistent approach to signings. 
I’ll argue until I’m blue in the face that we needed to make huge amounts of transfers to try and stay up, but some of them were just indefensible. Players who’ve barely played or otherwise wasn’t adequately vetted before signing them. 
Expecting them to chuck the book at us. I would argue it feels incredibly unfair given they’ll no doubt look the other way for the likes of Man City and Chelsea, but comparing our cases won’t help. On us to argue our case yet try to stay up whatever the outcome. 

 

Can anyone explain why Manchester City are avoiding answering their 115 charges before the rule changes in August, whilst Forest and Everton must answer them now?
115 charges which has dragged on for how long?
I want to sit here and take the piss out of Forest as nature intended, however it's just wrong how Manchester City are continuing and picking up silverware whilst others are having the book thrown at them.

Hear! Hear! @angieram. Whatever our personal views you can’t help but be aware of just how incredibly hard PW et al work for Derby County. They are totally absorbed & dedicated to the job. They so deserve success and I really want them to get the job done. 

I'll be delighted if he continues to win Manager of the Month awards for the remainder of the season. Well done for this one, which we needed to put ourselves in the mix.

Congratulations to Paul and his team and very well-deserved. 
I always think a Management team's job is a frustrating one, because if you win it's in spite of you, when you lose it's all your fault.
Enjoy the moment, get your heads down and carry on the good work. 

Fourth in the league and within touching distance of the leaders. Our manager has just won League One MOTM. 
I guess any criticism of him and the team should be put in this perspective.
Well done to Paul, Richie and the team. That includes DC who could easily have lost faith a couple of months ago.
