The story goes that Lee did hunt Hunter down but refused to come out of the changing room after the game, In the press the following week Lee said he'd meet Hunter on any cobbled street 😊

That in a nutshell is our entire problem. Our strongest XI, with everyone being played in their ideal positions does not involve us playing with three at the back.

I’m no Mel Morris apologist, the bloke is a very unpleasant 4 letter word as far as I’m concerned. 
And I’m not happy clapping Roy, I admit and have done consistently that there are concerns with Warne’s tactical approach, I look to be objective where I can and consider other people’s opinions, I haven’t nailed my colours to one mast and will insist on dying on that hill unlike some. 
If Warne doesn’t improve things, he goes, we get another manager and I back them, same as I have done since I started supporting the club as a child. I’m not as experienced as some of our fans as I have no control over when I was born and that my first games were in the early 90s where some peoples were in the 60s or 70s. Credit to those of you who’ve stuck at this longer than the rest of us.
I’ve lived through my own issues and as a result I don’t see the need personally to get wound up by things out of my control and I choose to look for positives because it’s a better way for me to be. Sometimes it’s enjoyable to just discuss things objectively about the squad we have or the way we’re playing without it turning into a more spiteful exchange, that’s all I’m ever trying to do on here and as I’ve said before it’s increasingly hard to do so as so many are keen to dig into all the negatives.

In last night's post match interview he said he liked 4-2-3-1.

I think might just get lads going as a spring board for bigger and  better things now and hopeful this will lift there confordance now see no reason why we cant get past group stages this time around and massive following upto notts county ground say another 4k up there.

EDIT: I was going to say Paul, himself, but I'm less sure how he would vote.

I know this is tongue in cheek but I also hate the idea that people can't criticise Warne without the assumption that they want him to fail.
On the contrary, I want him to prove me wrong 

This topic makes me sad because I've just sat and thought really hard about it and there isn't a single thing.
That's not me over reacting, without agenda, the reality has just sunk in that absolutely 100% of the footballing side of our club is worse than it was.
I was bored at the match on Saturday. And barely felt the excitement of a 85th minute penalty because deep down I knew there was a chance that our players would be tired enough to give them a few chances. I still think it was a point stolen rather than 2 lost given how bad we were.
Pride Park is dead. That's not because the fans have just suddenly turned rubbish, it's because like me, once optimistic people are just expecting nothing.
It's the worst it's ever been. I'll never not go, but it's hard to get enthused and last week for the first time ever, it felt nice to have a weekend without Derby County being at the forefront of my Saturday.
I think I'm depressed by how bad it is. I was more optimistic when we were on the verge of going bust. 
And to end on a slightly more positive note, I still think this squad is good and should be a top two team, we just have a manager making them look dreadful and it'll only get worse. 

RIP Colin Murphy, rather thrown in at the deep end at Derby. He was appointed with the intention of keeping the managers seat warm while Clough was persuaded to return. If only.

If you read many of my replies on here. You will see most of them are fairly tongue in cheek. I try not to take life too seriously and often see the fun in things.  Having said that I wasn't actually sure which Clough you were alluding too. Clough junior might be good as head of recruitment as he unearthed a few gems

Only told he’s the one we want, not that he’s signing.
Also, was told today by a different (and much more reliable) source that David Clowes has absolutely not interest in sacking Paul Warne and wants him to be in charge for the long term. Which may be even more depressing than my exam tomorrow.
