A small squad by choice. Warne thought Collins and McGoldrick would be enough to see us through the season. He also chose not to spread the minutes around between more of the players in the squad (Rooney and Thompson), including the two players he did choose to sign in January (White and Springett). Nor did he use any U21s, despite several having Championship experience for the club. His team selection also resulted in our 3rd choice CF being recalled, and sold a promising (albeit injury prone) forwardwho could have helped lighten the load for our aging forwards.

Blue shorts brought us two top division title wins...

Before he sells Bird and Cashin, and drives out Rooney and Thompson through lack of playing time, replacing them by 33+ year old journeymen.
Said before... Seems a nice enough guy but I don't think he's the right manager for our club. I'm far from convinced by his tactics and team selection.
Voted "on the edge, not yet 100% against him" but it's getting closer every game.

We all thought that we'd be signing players in Warne's 23-28 age bracket or whatever it was, not more old stagers with nowhere left to go (other than Waggy who is now a snip!).

The rumour mill has now branched out into human physiology.

Bigger socks are for larger feet, not for larger calves. The holes reduce pressure on the calf muscle and allow blood circulation.

Probably wears them out dancing on Tik Tok videos.

I agree with you @Brailsford Ram but in the back of any young player's mind will be "this could be my one big chance".
When you're young, you are warned about how dangerous motorbikes can be (because of other road users) but does it stop you wanting one? No. "Accidents only happen to other people". 
Similarly, "What happened to Matt Clarke won't happen to me".

My other concern in all of this is Warne.... He doesn't seem to 'trust' the players that were here before him. 'Trust' is the wrong word but I can imagine him preferring an ex-Rovrum player over Cashin, regardless of their respective abilities.

But Warne knew we would still have some difficulties with transfers this season. Instead of playing a system more suited to the players we already have, he's decided to go with an entirely different system which requires more transfers to create. 

His interviews, mannerisms and all that don’t bother me. I’m just interested in what we do on the pitch. I want to be entertained. And if our football is not entertaining, at least look like we’re heading in the direction by winning games.
Right now we’re barely doing the latter.
Nothing about Warne smacks of a manager who will achieve beyond expectations. If our squad isn’t top three in the league, under this manager we won’t finish in the top 3.

And that's fair enough. I'm sure Warne isn't daft enough to know that unattractive  football and poor results are usually a fatal combination. 
So I agree judge him on that. Not on how many times he uses a word during interviews or whether his jokes are funny or not.
