I'm not getting into whether it's the right or wrong decision to withdraw that honour from someone whom an inquiry has concluded he "was not aware of any allegations of abuse by Bennell and did not see anything done by Bennell" but something niggles a little about the process - through the monarch - of withdrawing an honour bestowed on a person by Royalty. (I understand the Royals may not always be particularly good at spotting abuse either.)
