I must have been stood near you. It really was dramatic looking back from the crest of the bridge, our own Wembley Way
I nearly burst into tears when I turned round and saw how many people there were. I had no idea until then!

It's probably off topic, but to evangelize briefly, there's Parkrun at Markeaton park and Alvaston park every Saturday morning (as well as long Eaton and Shipley) - it's something healthy and positive to get involved with, either running or volunteering.
Free, fun, healthy and welcoming to everyone - if you're just starting out you'll get loads of support and you don't have to be at any kind of minimum to get started. I regularly Marshall at my local parkrun and it's a good positive.
I regularly run and volunteer at Markeaton parkrun. Running’s helping me keep my head straight at the moment.

Probably giving him too much credit here, but maybe he means administration was the beginning, coming out of administration and repairing the damage is the middle, and the recovery is the end?
I took end of the beginning to mean announcing the pb, but who knows.

There’s nothing to suggest Ashley is out. I’ve also not seen anything that suggests “Binnie’s are in tomorrow”
I did see a tweet from Nixon saying Binnies are in tomorrow.

I have tweed Alan Nixon for clarity about what he is saying. He has replied that Ashley is now out. Appleby is still in but subject to proof of funds and the Binnies are still in and they are meeting the EFL tomorrow and their funding has already been approved. So we'll see.
I thought Nixon had said EFL have met two bidders and the one who is out is Kirchner, not Ashley?

I woke up feeling optimistic. I now feel thoroughly depressed again ☹️

I'll be honest, most forest fans I've had to work with have been ok, yes, the banter and it sucks when they're the ones who give it out, but there's enough familiarity as well in the most part - not quite sibling hate but kind of.
Fans wise, Leeds are the utter worst in my experience. Can't even say it's a Yorkshire thing, plenty of Yorkshire clubs without twattish fans.
Totally agree with you about Leeds fans.

I've backed off looking at Twitter this week mainly because of the sheer vitriol being posted by predominantly Notts Forest fans. And more than a handful of 'Boro fans too. Interestingly, and to their credit I've not seen much from Leeds fans personally. Like you say, I get the hatred but the unquenching desire to see us liquidated has amazed me. Low life doesn't even begin to describe these people. I'm a great believer in karma and fate. I very much hope they get theirs. Not their club - I wouldn't want any club to fold, regardless of who they are, but anyone who rubs their hands in glee at seeing people's lives destroyed, oh yeah, bring on fate and karma by the bucket load.
I’ve blocked loads of Leeds fans on Twitter this week.

Are they really representative of their fan base? As if so think my hatred of them has increased this week, I hate Forest with the best of them but wouldn’t want them relegated.
Even the two athletic journalists they have, while they don’t want us relegated veiled digs on Twitter like they need punishing (Paul Taylor) and the vendetta thing is nauseating (Daniel Taylor) and then the latter only retweets negative Derby news like Gibsons letter poo stirring.
Gutter club! Gutter fans!
To be fair, I work with two Florist fans and one was pleased for us, whilst the other was happy their rivals won’t disappear. So there’s at least two decent ones.
They’re both deluded though and order the open top bus in August every year ? -

Still haven't figured out what should be said on the banner to fly over Middlesbrough fc.
Do we need a separate thread to discuss this? Any idea how much it would cost if people all chipped in?

She’s definitely got a handle on the issues & of course what we didn’t know, is her previous conversation with the EFL asking how she could help. They told her the best thing would be for MPs not to make public statements, so now we’re in this situation & she’s not been contacted by them
very good that she’s on board . We shouldn’t worry that these MPs don’t have a handle on the issues
That is absolutely disgraceful !! ?
I was reasonably calm today until I read that.
