It was a tweet. He said something like you burn your bridges then expect a yacht to be sent to take you back. 

Is it only me who feels really sad about this? I know he shouldn’t have got drunk, got in the car etc, but what an awful way for his time at Derby to end ?

According to The Guardian, he’s now been sacked ...having trouble attaching the article...

I admit there was a bit of schadenfreude at 1-0,  but I didn’t want to see him humiliated like that ?

True. It’s certainly more open. But the quality of the final ball reminds me of Derby v Swansea ?

Can’t say I’m impressed by either side so far. Littered with mistakes.

Thought they were very effective.

Mel Morris was on Radio Derby this morning and said something is being arranged for fans at Wembley, but he wouldn’t reveal what.
