I’m being a bit dim here (perhaps too many glasses of red wine whilst here on holiday), why do we need a loan to “issue season tickets”?

I think we need the loan to prove we can finance the season before we are allowed to trade in that way. Seems a bit back to front, doesn’t it?

    John Percy article tonight

    "

Three other parties are understood to have submitted proposals this week: former Derby chairman Andy Appleby, ex-Wolves owner Steve Morgan and a local consortium.

Appleby's bid with group General Sports Worldwide is understood to be in excess of £40 million and is conditional on agreeing the purchase of Pride Park stadium, which is still owned by former Derby chairman Mel Morris."

It’s in the Telegraph article mate

    Thanks both!

I’d read the article but hadn’t spotted the last couple of paragraphs right at the bottom cos of the blumin’ adverts!

Appleby bid in excess of 40m then for club & stadium

If 21.4m for the club that means around 20m for the ground, isnt that the price Mel wanted originally to settle the MSD debt

Where have you seen that? I can’t keep up!

I've not seen the source, but seen a couple of people on Twitter saying that Percy's said that Morgan's back in the running

But that isn’t what Quantuma’s statement said is it Mr EFL? It’s so hard to work out what the truth is with none of the facts and all the various speculation and slightly contradictory statements throughout the process.

Also the language in the EFL statement seems inappropriately emotive and almost inflammatory to me

My immediate thought was that it’s been hastily written because they were caught on the hop.
