My 23 year old grandson (works for BBC in Manc, supports Hull City) went to the game v ManU and ‘bumped’ into Warne, Clowes and ex ram Kevin Wilson.  He said Clowes was happy to chat and that Clowes said he ‘may have to put his hand in his pocket’ in Jan. Grandson also said young rams deserved more from the game and was impressed by the ‘lad up front’. Brown?
 
 
 

Id definitely offer NML a new contract in the Summer - for me he's been excellent.
I'd also offer Fozzy a contract if we don't go up - even if it's planned as cover - he still plays a lot of games and can play LB or CB - it may be a lower offer and he may turn it down but if he was 26 and playing like he is nobody would question if we should keep him.

Wgat do we need? A new club record. The most points we gained in a season was 85 in 13/14.
We also gained 63 points in 55/56 during our 1st spell in the 3rd division, back when it was 2 points for a win (equivalent to 91 points)

I think an extra (quality) striking body is the difference between playoff push and trying to chase down the autos.

Quite the opposite, In their position, I would be looking to strengthen the squad. That could mean looking to replace Ladapo with a better quality striker who will be able to perform in the premier league.

Been discussed before, but we had ZERO chance of keeping hold of Gordon, Delap and Kellyman (unless you argue, reasonably that if we were better run and not gone into admin, the administrators would not have had chance to sell him).
Realistically if we turn up genuine superstars from the academy then whatever DCFC do, there is a high probability of them being poached. They tried very hard with Gordon and failed.

First half was a bit turgid, but there was many promising moments (down left flank in particular) screwed up by absolutely dire crossing. Felt a bit sorry for Collins as he was often in the box where needed but Sibley (in particular) hit it nowhere near anyone. Better delivery and it might have been a different game (half).
Second half, amongst many things, the delivery was better.

Well if they want him it will cost them £13 million at least

White (Newcastle) on loan at Crewe has to be a target? He made all 3 of our midfielders including Bird (who recently has looked better than this level) look silly during our match with Crewe. He’s a loan signing, where let’s be honest oil money FC won’t ever give him an opportunity now they can spend gazillions, so if you get promoted there might be opportunities for something longer term.

This really is a fantastic effort from all involved.
Since we started this thread, we have taken 9 points from 4 games at 2.25 points per game!  And we’ve added another 8 pages since my post so are now just 218 pages away from top spot.  If we can all focus and keep being really really cross for a bit longer we can do this.

Agree with all this. But I think there is a difference between being “content” and wanting Warne sacked (give up and roll the manager dice again hoping for a 6 instead of a 2).

Barring a big losing streak I’m probably ok to the end of the season. 

If we’ve made playoffs and lost unluckily then I may be ok for another summer window. But a lot depends on what happens from now to then.
Fingers crossed for a good playoff push leading to victory and promotion.. 🐏
