The EFL then took a chance to stick the boot in by stopping us keeping a 40 year old player, whilst allowing others under embargo to bring in large scale loan reinforcement and also stopped us giving proper contracts to kids on minimal wage that would have  expedited a swifter return on relegation, whilst dumping 9 more points of deduction based on accounting rules that didn't exist.  They followed this up by allowing a couple of chancers to go the faux 'revenge' mission, holding up any sale that may have given us a chance and forcing a sale of the best youngsters and Shinnie for some magic beans.

Well that's a revealing school of thought, though not in the way I sense you intended. If, as you claim, there is almost wholesale support for the systematic slaughter of Palestinians, which the phrase 'very supportive of the war and its execution' unequivocally implies, then perhaps they've no right to whine about the anger of those who find said actions and the support thereof, utterly repugnant.

I don't know why he was playing internationals when he'd been out for a month and wasn't anywhere near up to match fitness.  All a bit piss poor as we have a half fit Waghorn and the invisible man as other options.

Turning your back to a player, kicking it from the side and running onto our own ball, only works more than once if your Maradona or playing at U12 level.  He needs to work on another trick when pushing up.

I agree that some fans expected too much of him and Rooney substituting like that was excessively brutal, even if it was a fair reflection of his performance and effort on that occasion.
His behaviour after he scored for Swansea against us, however, wasn't the classiest of responses when the club was facing relegation. That was always going to get some fans backs up. Scoring alone was enough of a ripost to those who dissed him at Derby.

Coventry, QPR, Sheff Wed, Huddersfield, Birmingham and a Rotherham who know our manager inside out all looking favourites to contest that drop at the minute. That's a tough selection to navigate as well as a Bolton, Barnsley, Peterborough, free spending Oxford etc of whom two or three will probably be still here.  No bankrupt Readings or minus point Wigans next time round. 

I think he should get it for that marvellous performance against Blackburn where he looked like a giant blueberry  about to burst and cost us 2 goals in the first 30 minutes.  I'm not sure I've ever seen a player in such appalling shape run out for a game of football . It was disgraceful.

30k for Shinnie.  Surprised everyone forgot this massive sale.

He does have the bonus of course of getting a side to the Championship that were even smaller than Rotherham and actually keeping them up for two seasons.  He likes to get past the first rounds of proper cups as well, semi final being the favourite. 
He can find a bargain as well.  Think our net spend over 4 years must have been about 2million and he reduced the squad by half, cut the wage bill in half, brought through some youngsters we got 16 million quid for and brought the average age down by about 5 years.  
On top off that he mightily pissed of Forest fans by turning down the chance to manage them and stay here. Then they went all non league Nigel on him and started having have an annual day for the demi god that was Fawaz.
Bloke did a good job on the whole. His last few games where I suspect he knew what was coming clouds the water. 
 

Everton appealing on the we could have sold players to cover this if not for covid.  Worked for half the championship after we'd been reared and they altered the framework for Stoke, Bristol City etc.  Joke.  

let us be honest it will live long in the memories of those down the a52, they will get bragging rights before a ball is even kicked. avoid at all costs for me as @Gee SCREAMER !! says it will be the most embarrasing fixture in our history and thats only if we play them nothing to do with what happens on the pitch. its not even worth thinking about if we actually lost to them as they will be well up for it

I actually thought we'd probably lose to Villa as they were flying and was even more in that camp when I saw the starting line up .  Roos pissed me off making it easy for them and I got more pissed off when Marriott came on and Mings s*** his pants for 25 minutes, when he'd previously spent the game pushed up on the halfway line scratching his arse.  Was always going to be a tight game though in the toughest playoff set of teams I can remember.
The QPR and Leicester ones were proper awful as I'm sure in both cases we'd have stayed up and built.  Redemption was quick after Leicester.  Not after QPR. 
We had a real chance in the year we played Hull and should have gone up.  That Ipswich injury too Thorne was crucial, followed by the ridiculous 3rd Hull goal at the end of the game at home.  They were crap.
