Yay - let's celeberate - we're now roughly at the same point that we were with the Fake Sheikh and the Homoerotic Boxer
We still need a twitter video of Appleby showing us round his 10 bedroom crib in Miami. Then it turns out he's rented it from Barry Gibb for the week. We're still a few days of that.

Simon Jordan and Adrian Durham are two reasons I don’t listen to Talk Sport any more. Them, and the nutters who ring in with their point of view ? ??
He's really pissed off our mates on OTIB today, so I 'll give him a pass for one day only

Nice to see old Poppa baalocks actually seeing issues with other clubs though. Praise the lord.
As for the fella with this comment.
Derby county fans wetting their knickers about it already I see. Sad ****s.
I refer you to your own forums, almost 100 page vitriolic outburst, that's gone on for about 18 months. Page 92 -93 is particularly unpleasant, clutching at the sale price of Pride Park again and hoping this prevents a sale. Back to December 2020 aren't we chaps. Perhaps you could start copying and pasting your original tirades.

Lots of people on this thread referring to the phrase written and asking about email etc and delay. A large amount of paperwork, particularly relating to promises of large cash payments to creditors, requires a wet signature, or in old terms someone with a pen and a countersigner with a pen. Its usual.

Yes I think so. I just wish he was as keen to highlight/question other possible creative accounting like overseas club transfers as he was ours. Perhaps he is but we dont hear. He does seem to hope we get out of this anyway.
Bloke was just poo stirring again. We've had no discussion with Wycombe and he's personally spoke to senior board members at other clubs who are unhappy they've had to take loans to pay HMRC when we won't have to pay everything. No poo Sherlock. Maybe he could ask old Gibbo about transferring liability to his haulage company or how happy Derby were that there HMRC debt isn't 19 million owing now as they didn't get a covid loan. Don't know why the bloke gets airtime from Derby fans.

Didn't even consider booing Marriott was a possibility, I hope not on reflection. Plenty of potential, a lot unrealised. Certainly no issues with him though. Whomever Derby fans seem to target tend to do very well against us, feeds them with all the motivation they need. Sharp gets a lot of stick and scores goals for fun against us. Holmes and Lyle Taylor spring to mind recently, really wish we'd bottle it so we don't have to witness the inevitable smirking and gesticulating after the pantomimes villains bang the goal in.
Think the crowd will be ok with Marriott. These two get stick because their twits and Holmes is poo on top quite frankly . That shot the other week would have just about made it to the moon if hadn't deflected of Bielik. Taylor gets it because he plays for Forest on loan elsewhere or otherwise. Not a player I'd want mind . Refusing to play for Charlton in their last 8 games in case he got injured when they had chance to avoid relegation doesn't scream up for the fight to me .

No chance . He was from Derby
Raymond Doyle (Martin Shaw) (born c. 1949), a former police detective constable, who originated in Derby but later lived in an unspecified "city" with parallels to Birmingham. He was working the seedier parts of east London when recruited into CI5.

Pressure is growing on the EFL to agree new 'force majeure' Covid allowances and Bristol City, who last month admitted that they may be forced to take a points deduction next year, think they might not be the only club who will be affected.
The report adds that Middlesbrough and Stoke are among other sides facing scrutiny as the EFL enters the next 12 months of its three-year "profit and sustainability" cycle.
"I'd have thought there will five, six, seven in our league in a similar position as we are and there will be others that are struggling," City chairman Jon Lansdown said.
Can we change the rules and get let off as we've overspent but could have made thirty million in sales to premier league teams. What a load of poo.

Peterboro's foul count tohight is worry - looks as though we might be getting kicked to death on Saturday.
We need to make a bit more of naughty tackles than we do. Lying there for a few seconds and holding a leg gets us nowhere clearly. Loud screams and fist banging with a side to side roll is needed, preferably 3 others pushing over the offending player as someone else screams in the refs face, based on what I saw the opposition get away with at the weekend.

Not sure about this result...that leaves us 5 points behind Reading which could be a problem...we were 4 points behind which with our superior goal difference is a win and a draw...5 points however is 2 wins.Or am I over thinking this?
But if Peterborough win its 5 as well with a game in hand and there going balls out to stretch that to 8 on Saturday knowing they have a cushion if they lose. We still need to aim for 42 points and that's not changed. Tonight was a great result- if we take advantage. Lot of pressure on Saturday. A young team feeling a bit more expectation than normal.

A little bit of work done, The Reindeer was on Eagle Street in Derby...map below
This shows where the Reindeer was

Cheshire Cheese, Trident, Reindeer, Tiger, The Knotted Snake, The coliseum. This thread shows that Derby perhaps has Britain's oddest selection of pub names if nothing else.

Any news of a preferred bidder yet?
One was expected to appear between the Jurassic and Cretaceous period but there was a slight delay. Admin update expected after the second coming of Christ though, so probably another 48 hrs at a guess. Imminent anyway.

A lovely night for Peterborough vs Reading ?
0-0 and five red cards as there blown into each other, or slide 10 yards with every tackle. I actually fancied this to be a Reading win by a couple as they can't be poo forever and they have Joao back up front . Might be a bit of a leveller with the conditions .

The building is still there i think, but turned into a shop or something at the bottom, the alley can still be seen that led onto the land behind cockpit hill. All the houses had been demolished except for one pub but cant remember its name.
My dad was a regular in there. Has some pictures from the night it closed. Yes, the buildings still there. I've a feeling it may be a shelter charity shop at the bottom.

Right, Midland Drapery was on the corner of East Street and Albert Street, When shopping there they put your money in a cylinder and it went in a chute for your change and reciept to return...quite strange, Boots was on the other corner where the Ram Statue is now in the middle
I'm old enough to remember when the city centre was full of shops and packed with people using them and the two markets. Up to the late 90's really. You can still buy a mobile phone charger, e fags or black mamba down there I suppose. Will be excited to see the new prison block, at the cheapest price, they shove up in place of an art deco building now Debenhams has gone . Bet it's lovely.

The account is either a long running parody that is being very cleverly written
OR
The account is run by a man in his mid-40's with nothing better to be doing who lives at home with his elderly Mum (who still does all of his cooking, cleaning and makes doctors appointments for him) and he never leaves his room. A room which has got DCFC bedsheets from 1999 on the bed and a wall covered in Horacio Carbonari posters. There's already at least 3 of them on the Bristol City forum, anymore and it's an apocalypse on the horizon . Can't be true

Whilst I don’t have much time for pages and pages of ‘punfests’ on quite important threads, I do also like the idea of opposition fans trying to find out what ‘those cheats at Derby County think’ and just finding a load of nonsense.
It’s sainsburys and roundabouts to me
That's a plan
Who likes Salmon ? . I prefer the tinned stuff. Did you know some limpets can sit in the same place for hundreds of years.

Just started watching "Shooter" on Netflix.
Spellbinding, like I thought "Designated Survivor" was until they made one too many series.
Really enjoyed Designated Survivor. Till they decided the FBI had only one agent who had to perpetually travel the globe making dumb as poo decisions, two thirds of the cast disappeared and it had no actual ending. That last series was somewhat pants. Still not as bad as Lost mind. 6 years of my life watching that. Derbys admin issues are walk in the park compared to that plot.

Might have to wait 2-3 weeks fella to get to that stage . Think the 10 days advised might be a bit short.

In this league yes. Hull have looked a rabble both times we've played them and still managed 4 or 5 wins on the trot at one point. The season they got to the playoff final I'm sure we put 10 goals past then in the other 3 games with non conceded. I always go with the Hull-who the feck knows- model.
