The way the table looks right now it seems as though it's 3 from 4 to go down, with everyone above Reading pretty much safe. Is there any chance they might appeal their own points deduction?

While we've been playing so well, I can't believe the other three teams will continue to perform this badly for much longer. And there'll be a new kind of pressure for us if we can get to the top of this mini league within a league. It's also got to be likely Paunovic will be sacked at Reading and they'll become much more competitive.

Reckon at least 45 points. I also think we can do that if Davies, Bielik and Lawrence stay fit.

I put this forward earlier mate that I can see this happening.  As the EFL were so obliging giving them six instead of 9 and allowing them to bring in Carroll and Drinkwater 24 hours later, I can't see there being much problem obliging them with 3 more points to assist us further

The problem is Gibbo, EFl is not now the enemy. No way is the EFL supporting him on this, they want us to win. And MM’s  desire to steer clear of the EFl disputes process because it’s ‘corrupt’ is barking mad. imho

When they tar and feather him and put him in stocks outside the Market Hall, preferably with a bell making him shout unclean, I'll believe the EFL don't have this blokes back.  Until then, I can imagine something similar to this if Morris turns up with his team to meet Parry and Gibson.  Sorry

I think 7 wins will see us climb out the bottom 3. Possible winning home matches against Peterboro, Millwall, Barnsley, Coventry, Preston, Bristol and Cardiff. Could drop points against one of them 7 matches so Im looking at away games where we might sneak a win, Cardiff, Swansea, QPR or Blackpool. Then the draws could come from a number of games, like Middlesboro (a), Luton (a), Bournemouth (a) or Fulham at home.

So 7 wins and 3 or 4 draws would give us 42 or 43 points which would be enough. We might need less if Peterboro and Reading keep up their current form until the end of the season. Injuries will also play their part, so lets hope we keep that down to a minimum and we get Kazim back. His experience will be required in some games. Also want to see our two Polish internationals playing together a few times before the season ends.

I assume if we get to the final couple of games and are a couple of points ahead or behind Reading the EFL will decide they were harshly treated having the 6 point deduction instead of the proposed 9 and will reduce it further to 3.  Stake my ass on it.

So just to clarify in my own mind, the current situation is that Gibbon has a case against us that is holding everything up but nobody, including the EFL, know what that case is????

Some muttering about cheating on stadium sales that we were cleared of a year ago and an American bloke muttering about cheating for lodging paperwork with the EFL within the agreed time frame.

    Bottle thrown from stand

    Blackburn 0-1 Nott'm Forest

Referee Josh Smith has just had a word with both sides, after Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba appeared to be struck by a bottle thrown from the crowd.

Ben Brereton Diaz is trying to play peacemaker, Samba is livid, Joe Worrall is trying to calm things too.

………………………..this bottle throwing mullarkey is getting silly now!

Ringer in the crowd to slow the game down if the last 15 minutes against us is anything to go by.

He’s doing alright on their forum. He’s had several pay rises since the beginning of January starting at £27000 up to £37000 by February. Gets me how these ‘in the knowers’ know the contracts of player but don’t even know what their owner is actually up to.

Shall I start a piss take thread ' great news Lawrence to sign new 4 year deal on 50k a week' . Then we can watch forums in Bristol, Boro and Forest melt in flames

I can't get to see the comments for some reason on the Beeb app am assuming that they're all negative?

Apart from a few Forest dicks talking about liquidation parties all positive.  This retort made me laugh

If you threw a party, the rest of Nottingham would be washing their hair.

    And Gibsons manson like following

Derbys problems are nothing to do with Gibson though it's to do with the fact Derby haven't offered any proposal of compensation for the other teams to agree to therefore the club cannot yet be sold.

Scheming? He has done nothing wrong. It's the old owner of Derby that did all the scheming. Cheated and got caught, simple as. You lot all laughed when you thought you were getting away with it. Don't get me wrong, I and plenty of other Boro fans would like Derby to survive. However, it's not the fault of Middlesbrough FC, that put you in this situation.

I'm getting a lot of notifications and I'm trying my best to respond to all of them. I can't respond to things where I don't know the answer though, you would have to ask Steve Gibson.

Perhaps in May if he gets round to it.  You have no opinion, because despite you constant defending we both already know the answer .

If you think scenes will be like outside that night. . . . . . . . you were not there!!  Boro and Derby today,  pussycats compared to Millwalls knuckledraggers that night

I was.  Great fun wasn't it.  Coach drivers turning all the lights off and doing 40 in pedestrian areas to avoid old ladies throwing stones.  A lot of older boys were out of retirement that evening or it could have been much worse.  We actually held our own quite well that evening.

You never answered my post about him passing debts or whatever onto his haulage firm, cant understand why that is legal.

He doesn't answer direct questions - such as why is his master not going to town on Bournemouth who took 4 points of them and denied them automatic promotion.  The Stepford Smoggies.  Bigger cult than Charles Manson going on up there.
