This is an academy coach and scout at the club.
As the season unfolds I feel like there will be some highly entertaining content coming out of Yorkshire that can fill this topic ?

I know they weren’t playing a good side but some of the interplay and one touch football there was lovely.

Remarkably only 9 days after major surgery which included a cardiac arrest and CPR Clara is coming home in the morning for effort 2... hopefully this time will last longer than 4 days.
absolutely over the moon at the thought of having my family back together! Genuinely buzzing! She really is a little super star ⭐️

What have they achieved?
We’re both still in the Championship having been to Wembley and underperformed.
They have achieved no more than we have.
It’s only a matter of days until the vultures swoop and they are back to square one again.
I really don’t see anything special going on there, more excited with what’s going on here with Lowe, Bogle, Bird, Knight, Sibley....a core of young players that could go far.

Hi all... quick update on the little lady... we had an operation on Tuesday called a fundoplication. As they were putting Clara-Leisa under she stopped breathing (as shocking as it sounds this was the 7th time!) they quickly brought her back round and she was stable enough to carry on with the operation.
After a few days I’m paediatric critical care we moved back to the general ward today. We are hoping this should be the last of her operations for a while (there’s 2 planned further along the line) as she’s had 5 in 9 weeks!
As a side note I’m brainstorming a lot at the minute as when everything has settled down i want to raise as much money for Nottingham hospital charity, the TOF charity and Lincolnshire air ambulance. Don’t worry I’m not asking for your money but has anybody got any good ideas for some fundraising ideas? So far I’ve got a charity fantasy football league, a few runs, and a raffle for somebody to choose a tattoo of their choice that I have to get.
Photo of the little lady and her absolutely amazing mummy who’s kept me sane through the last 9 weeks. X

Thanks for the info. Injury did for him. His midfield performance against QPR in the playoff final was simply superb. Feel very sorry for George.

Hi everyone... a lot of people showed support in the depression thread so thought I’d give a quick update for everyone... Clara-Leisa is doing ok...
She is booked in for a ‘oesophago-gastro-duodenoscopy’ and biopsy tomorrow... for us simple people that means they are going to conk her out and stick a camera down her food pipe, stomach and the start of her gut and have a look and take some samples.
There will more then likely be a follow up operation next week sometime but they want to see the severity of what we are dealing with. They seem to think she has severe reflux which causes her A.L.T.I’s (Acute Life Threatening Incidences)
photo of a happy baby who’s wondering what all the fuss is about!

"...the now 101-year-old has been to almost every home match since the end of the Second World War.
Speaking when celebrating his 100th birthday in 2017, he said: “There is no secret to old age just luck and kindness.
"If you are kind and nice to people, most people will be nice back to you and that’s how I live my life.”

Ours is on the way out. The thin balance between enjoying life and suffering has clearly been crossed.
The vet had said it would be quick and he wasn't wrong. Heart disease
She didn't have breakfast this morning, she's not walking.
Took her to see my folks for the last time this morning
Had her as a rescue dog eleven years ago so she's done well
Taking her to the vet on Wednesday

Show off...
Actually, a good story about Costa. I recently employed 2 ladies that were working in my local Costa. I had 2 pretty entry level jobs that did not pay much but was still a better deal than Costa. They had never worked in my industry but my lot had a gut feeling about them.
Both are absolutely brilliant and have doubled their wages in less than a year. Hard working, multi-lingual superstars. Could not me more happy with them. They both admit that Costa did teach them some good things and they learnt a lot..
Moral is I suppose, just because you may not hold the greatest job in the world at any given time, it does not mean that you cannot achieve anything, given a bit of luck and dedication.

Precisely the reason I've never bought a dog, despite having wanted one my entire life. It's a big responsibility and one that should be taken seriously. Maybe if there was more than one dog it might be a bit better, but leaving a puppy to it's own devices all day, every day, seems really unfair to me.

Hear hear!
This is almost exactly how I feel about it. Grew up in Derby, now live in Tokyo, previously lived in Australia. Radio Derby has offered a connection to the club for years. I like listening to Ramage and Ed.
I try to sync the video with Radio Derby every match but that's because I prefer RD. It's not because I hate the video commentary - I don't. It's fine.
I suppose one thing I've noticed is that it feels and sounds as though the RD team are right in the thick of it at the game, whereas the in-house commentary team is sitting in a room watching a TV screen. Not sure whether that's the reality and I admit that I haven't listened to it much to really know whether this is always the case.
It's nice to have the choice.

@OwenB87 Is the commentator vs crowd noise balance something which can easily be fixed? I believe adjusting that would help mask the "over-talking". The over-talking is something which will sort itself out over time with more practice.

Just mute the commentary a bit (or a lot) and amplify the crowd noise, that would improve things immensely.
