Alonso seems a very dubious character. Some of his comments beggar belief. 
Problem is, Mr Morris is desperate to sell, so the club will end up in the hands of the first charlatan to scrape enough together to seal the deal. Doesn't bode well at all.

The club has existed a long time before his arrival and it’ll exist a long time after he’s gone unless of course the new owners are as inept as our forward line.
Maybe I’ve got my grumpy pants on today but this unconditional support tosh isn’t washing with me any longer. It’s a two way street as far as I’m concerned. Give me something to be proud of and my support will be vigorous. The halfhearted bilge I’ve endured in recent weeks is unacceptable as is our hoping for other teams failure to cement our safety in a weak division.

Agree. Doesn't seem plausible at all. For one thing, a Spanish lawyer probably wouldn't automatically be qualified to practice in the UK. 

Yes, it's no even been completed yet, we don't really know what will happen and we should try to judge him by his actions and so on. But. "I'm going to get us promoted, spend £150m and buy £20m players" seems a bit "say things fans like so they are on side" rather than "here are some well considered thoughts on sustainable growth and a positive direction for the club"
It's nice that he thinks the end goal is promotion to the prem where the big money is, and I doubt any new owner would suck their teeth and go "well lads, lower midtable year on year is kind of the limit for the cash I have to spend on yous, but it's mine now ha ha ha"

Now that the UK is not in the EU this does not sound sensible. 
In any case, much of law is very country specific so the fact that he's a Spanish law expert should not hold water over here. 
But in the end, if all he is doing is advising the owners then on their heads be it. 

Spot on. That team was capable of promotion, no question. If it was necessary to part company with Clement, perhaps it would have been sensible for the chairman to have a decent replacement lined up, before pulling the trigger.

Better keeper than Marshall for us. The fact that Marshall saved some penalties for Scotland has clouded a lot of Rams fans' judgement.

Said this for ages, Roos is a good championship keeper and gets way too much abuse. Marshall has also on the flip side been very average, yet he's being made to be "the next Poom" by a lot of our fans. Roos gets enormous amounts of criticism yet doesn't deserve to. People go on about Roos not being commanding enough, can people honestly tell me Marshall is commanding? 
Take a look at this thread and tell me Marshall is better than average? You can't. I know stats aren't the be all and end all but this certainly backs up the eye test for me. The guy put Roos into the same first graph, but for Roos' all time championship stats, as he hasn't played enough games this season so his stats get massively swayed. 

All said and done, Mr Morris wants out asap. With the best will in the world he won't be in a position to have any influence on the destiny of DCFC under new ownership. None of the parties negotiating or preparing to make an offer to buy the club inspire one with confidence.
