No surprise to see Knight linked with a move away, he’s proven himself over a number of years to be a good player to have in any Championship squad. An established international like him is way above League One level.

Poor show from the lad really, after the Joiners Arms incident where the club kept his involvement under the radar, gave him his opportunity and this is how he repays the club.
I have no issue with him wanting to leave, anyone that isn't committed to the cause is can go, but go about it the right way.
I'm sure this was his agents idea, but the lad should no right from wrong, this is clearly wrong.

I wonder if the Jamaican coach has been in his ear like with Bielik. Although having said that as soon as Rooney went you knew he'd go as well.

Not a fan of reverting back to U21 being the oldest academy team. In my view footballers aren’t fully developed until they’re 23/24, so the previous age limit was about right. You’re limiting the opportunities for late bloomers to come through, as 21/22 year olds will now be let go if they haven’t made the first team yet, even though they might have made it with a bit more time to develop.

I always thought Mendez-Laing mainly played on the right, maybe I’m wrong. I’m not convinced by him as a starter anyway, blows a bit too hot and cold. Barkhuizen I think will be a key player in League One on the other hand, always remember him being hard working, so should be well suited to the division.
McGoldrick and Barkhuizen would cause all sorts of problems with their physicality, exactly what we need right now. Sibley I’m still dubious about. I was told Rooney didn’t believe he’d make it as he lacked intelligence on the pitch, hence why he got very little game time under him. Whether Rosenior agrees with that view we will see. He’s clearly got natural talent, but he needs to apply it better.

Always good to hear from Curtis, he speaks so well. He seems to really love the club and want to stay here, which is amazing since I’m sure he could easily get a Championship contract. It’ll just be a case of negotiating a contract which works well for both us and him. I’m sure he’ll sign a 1 year deal very soon.

Is it because of the repayment of the creditors over the two years I wonder? One slip up of that and who knows. 
Or just because we’ll need better players for the PL in two years ?

Brilliant news about Cashin. He should be unbeatable at League One level. Some talent. Delighted we’ve managed to re-sign him. Again, surprised it’s only a two year deal. A player of his potential you’d want on a long term 4/5 year deal really. Must be EFL restricted surely.
