I’ve managed to get tickets for this game but i live in Cardiff for uni and this red weather warning for storm Eunice has massively thrown off my plans. Had to book a last minute train ticket this evening.

Allsop- 6, Should've saved their second goal, but other than that he was fine. Made a great save which balances out the error. 
Byrne- 8, Echoed how he played last year. Got forward into great positions and consistently whipped in great crosses and corners, and got a deserved assist. 
Forysth- 5, Eh. Didn't do much overall. Forgot he was on the pitch in all honesty. Why he kicked their fullback when there was no chance he was getting anywhere near the ball I have no idea. 
Jagielka- 7, Yet again, solid at the back. Couple of nervy moments but overall he didn't do much wrong against a pretty poor Reading side. 
Davies- 8, What a header you absolute legend. 
Thompson- 9, Thought he was class once again. He just looks so composed and comfortable on the ball. Sometimes I think he can be a bit more positive but honestly he was brilliant today. 
Bird- 9, His best game in a while. Shouldn't have been so hesitant in playing Jozwiak through but he was such a presence in midfield today. He broke up Reading's play, got stuck in and kept the attacks ticking. 
Knight- 5, Rightfully subbed off in my opinion. Worked hard again but sometimes I think he just lacks the technical ability to play as far forward as he was today. 
Jozwiak- 6, At the start he was good, but got a bit quieter as the game went on. Still far and away our best attacker today. Felt for him when Bird didn't pass to him quick enough. 
Lawrence- 6, He was ok. Didn't see too much of him in the game but it would be harsh to say he wasn't good. 
Plange- 5, Should've scored. I think he's better than Stretts, he gets much more involved in the build-up and doesn't go missing but he didn't convert his golden chance today unlike against Stoke. 
 
Ebosele- 5, Made a couple of his trademark driving runs but his ball control and final touch/pass were absolutely awful. He seems to give and then take away sometimes. 
Kazim- 7, Really good. Whenever he's on the pitch you always fancy this man to score a goal and he did just that. 
Morrison- 6, Did what he was sent out to do, couple of unnecessary long shots, however.  

Charlton Athletic are set to sue Derby County for £25 million after the ball burst in the 1946 FA Cup Final. If it hadn’t burst then we might have won or got some good players or something, said a Charlton spokesman. Meanwhile Ipswich Town also announced they were going to sue Derby County due to some reason or other. We might have won more games if they hadn’t beaten us in them, cited an Ipswich spokesman. It simply wasn’t fair that they had better players and scored more goals. We want £40 million and Martyn Waghorn back. 
Meanwhile American fast food chain McDonalds announced that they were going to sue Derby County for fielding a player with their brand name. Flagrant breach of copyright, claimed a spokesman for the evil corporation.
In other news the EFL announced a further 9 points deduction for Derby County after the midlands side finished their 0-0 draw against Swansea with 5 full backs on the pitch. Everyone knows you should have two full backs, said a source close to Rick Parry. Derby ended the game with 5 players who full back could be considered their tecognised position. That is clearly too many. We checked the rules but couldn’t find anything specific about this so we all agreed that 3 points per extra full back sounded about right. 

Meanwhile Wycombe have announced they aren’t going to sue Derby County for getting them relegated by buying Nick Blackman when they were two leagues below after they realised it was totally ridiculous and so far fetched as to be laughable.

Allsop- 4 Terrible distribution. Ultimately cost us the three points tonight. 
Byrne- 6 His levels are down from last season. Crossing and corners just aren’t quite as good.
Buchanan- 7 Made some good tackles and darting runs. Needs to do more going forward.
Jagielka- 8 Been really good for us this whole season. Great block.
Davies- 7 Also very solid tonight. Davies and Jags are always solid. 
Shinnie- 5 Meh. Struggled in possession and with Luton’s pressing. Couple of needless fouls. 
Bird- 6 Always puts in a shift, didn’t impact the game all too much. 
Morrison- 4 I genuinely thought he was so so poor. Terrible decision making at times especially when we’d have the chance to counter. Slowed down numerous attacks for us and made the wrong decision too many times. When he went down to win the pen I rolled my eyes. Think he’s quite overrated and not surprised he was subbed off. 
Knight- 8 Brilliant work-rate. Deserved goal+assist. MOTM.
Jozwiak- 6 Ball retention was good and as always he worked his socks off. Little impact on the game overall yet again though.
Lawrence- 7 I thought he was better than usual tonight. Some good link up play at times as well as a goal and assist.

We haven't got a chance of winning this. They will absolutely go all guns blazing to win after their sad news. It's something that's beyond football and transcends it, of course. But just to bring it back to the game...
First team we've come up against with more to fight for than us. No chance.

Roos- 3 Really bad. Distribution was terrible, had no presence in his box yet again. Need someone else in goal ASAP. 
Byrne- 6 Was decent at the start but his positioning was so so poor. I know it’s part of our game to play the fullbacks up high but both Birmingham goals were scored on his side of the pitch and he was nowhere to be seen. 
Buchanan- 6 Messed up for the first goal but at times seemed like our only player who wanted to make something happen. A couple of great runs and positive passes unfortunately cancelled out by a terrible backpass. 
Jagielka- 6 Thought he tried his best but his age really showed tonight. Just struggled to keep up with Birmingham at times. 
Davies- 5 He’s been great so far this year but this was a really weird performance from him. At times his positioning and defensive work just seemed very lazy. Think he just had an off game. 
Shinnie- 6 He wasn’t terrible or anything in the first half. He was fine. Nothing bad nor nothing good to say about him. Maybe if he’d stayed he’d have injected some more energy into the team but on the flipside maybe he’d have gotten sent off. 
Bird- 5 At times he showed his natural ability but tonight he was just very negative and ultimately didn’t affect the game at all. 
Morrison- 3 Dreadful performance, dreadful attitude. Needs to realise he’s not too good for the championship, attempted to run the entire length of the pitch twice and got easily tackled which a better team than Birmingham would’ve capitalised on. 
Sibley- 4 Poor from Sibbo tonight. Might as well not have been on the pitch he was that anonymous. 
Lawrence- 5 Another poor performance. Not sure what he did that was any good other than one shot straight at their keeper. When was the last time he scored a free kick? Also was being a twit all night, not setting a great example as captain so far. 
Baldock- 5 Oh yeah he was playing. Gets a customary five for just showing up.

You're right.  He gets in some great positions, seems to effortlessly find space (aka Bielik) but at times he misses the obvious or killer pass when trying to do it on his own. Maybe he's trying to prove something? If he'd played Byrne in yesterday we may well have scored. Instead, 2 minutes later, having lost possession, Florest scored. 
That said, given game time I believe he'll be great for us.  Rooney believes in him and I have no doubt where he's made the wrong decision, Wazza will have a quiet word in his shell-like.  

Roos 5- Poor distribution, seemed quite nervy. Made one amazing save cancelled out by one poor error. The poor distribution drops him below average. 
Byrne 7.5- Defensively very very good. Should’ve stopped the cross for their goal though. Attacking wise he didn’t offer much today, nor were his corners very good. MOTM for me.
Forsyth 7- Solid game. Great assist, defensively he’s still not brilliant, nor is he very good in the air. Now without Kazim he’s basically playing a wide target man role which so far has been pretty unsuccessful, struggled to win a lot of Roos’ goal kicks.
Davies 7- Decent. Nervy start but not much I can fault him on really.
Jagielka 7- Same as Davies really. A couple of nervy moments but generally quite solid at the back.
Bird 6.5- Amazing first half. Second half was very sloppy. But to be fair unlike some others at least he was trying to make something happen.
Shinnie 6- Fairly anonymous game from Shinnie. Barely affected play first half, second half his stamina came to fruition and he started to carry the ball forward a bit more. Didn’t offer much to the team in the end though. Whenever Bielik’s back I’d drop Shinnie. 
Morrison 5.5- Harsh but I thought he was bad. Selfish. Decision making terrible. Wasted quite a few decent opportunities for us.
Sibley 6- Had very little effect on the game. He’s just better through the middle, simple as that. He huffed and puffed and almost got an assist though.
Jozwiak 7- Actually thought he played quite well in the end. Grew into the game after a meh first half. Carried the ball well and was positive in his play.
Lawrence 7- Was good but clearly not 100%. Great finish. 
Stretton 6.5- Should’ve been subbed on much earlier in the game. We needed a natural striker in the box at times today. In the end didn’t have much of an impact, though he could’ve won it for us.

Has he been any worse than Lawrence in these first three games? He played like 10 minutes today and people are having a go at him again. I admit the guy hasn’t been great but not many have been so far. Byrne made the most unforgiving mistakes today. Why is there not a thread on him? (Not saying there should be, but just pointing out the clear scapegoating Jozwiak has been experiencing). Imagine racially abusing your own player. Embarrassed and ashamed. 

Completely false. Many players were at fault for that goal, Jozwiak was only one of them. First Sibley for giving away a needless free kick, then Forsyth for not even attempting the header, then Jozwiak for losing his man. Then Byrne for ball watching and losing his man on the far post. Arguable that Stearman or Davies could’ve done a bit better too. Not sure how that goal was ‘nobody’s fault but his own’.
