That they haven’t closed the loophole is bizarre. I mean, what’s stopping an owner buying some random club in Chile or something, purchase one of their players for £50m before sending him back on loan with a view to a permanent free transfer.
It creates a £50m FFP buffer for the selling team.
What Watford and Forest have done shouldn’t be allowed. It’s no different to shifting assets like the stadium between company accounts.

Yep. But you're talking about improving the atmosphere in South Stand. I'm just saying cheap tickets isn't the way to do it.

Hodgson was manager at Euro 2012. He replaced Capello just before the tournament. Personally I think Hodgson was a terrible England manager.
Southgate has done a good job but is too defensive at times (eg the Euro 2020 Final).

Who said anything about insolvency law?
The EFLs rules on this were quite clear before Mel decided to put us into administration. We're not allowed to extend contracts or buy new players because it is currently unclear where the money will come from to pay for any of that. The EFL is trying to protect other clubs as well as ourselves.
12 points for administration is automatic as per EFL rules and the 9 points was for breaching ffp, which again is part of their rules. There has to be a punishment for entering administration otherwise teams will just take advantage of it and if FFP isnt going to be enforced there is no point doing it (and before you say anything no i dont think ffp is a good system, but that is irrelevant)
I have no idea why you are trying to protect Melvyn, but everything that has happened is entirely his fault. We wouldnt even be in administration if it wasnt for his actions.

The Admins need to be doing more, and better in destroying these statements. This is your bread and butter, you know how insolvency works far better than the EFL clowns, educate them in the public domain, where everyone can see. FFS.

If theyre run like a business and to be treated like any other business then logically they must obey and be subject to the same laws, Graham Auld you plum.

So yes, lets do that then - and heave yours and that permed buffoon's ludicrous "football-creditor-from-baseless-claim-cos-the-efls- out-of-date-rule-book-that-applies-to-no-other-business-says-so" claims into the nearest skip where they belong!

The midweek matches are usually streamed anyway (or on Sky via the red button where the club get no benefit from it) so I don’t really think it’s lost ticket revenue as such as there were people going to watch it at home anyway.

It being picked by Sky as a main fixture unfortunately does mean it’s not available to stream directly from the club. It’s a guaranteed £100K from Sky vs money lost from Rams TV streams.

Can't wait to see the back of this year. Will say now I'm ok, but it's been a challenging year, starting out with Derby going into admin.
Broken foot makes you realise how much you need both your feet
Next up both sisters and partners testing positive for Covid, little sister has been hit pretty hard.
Out of isolation period but still having breathing issues.
Next up Mum has also tested positive, home alone for Christmas, not a lot I can do other than FaceTime. Luckily she's not been hit hard by it, first couple of days were rough but quickly recovered.
Was due down for the first family Christmas my side for years, that was cancelled with my mum still isolating until next weekend.
Now the hammer blow, Leanne's sister in law found out this week she has 5 months to live, been having tests for pains, was suspected kidney stones, came back she has kidney cancer which has spread to her lungs.
Tomorrow is now billed as the "last time Christmas" for her whilst her other brother was sectioned again at the weekend. Believes Adele is in there with him.
Football has become secondary at the minute, but not lost on me that the clubs future is in serious doubt.
    Roll on 2022

Does he have any drug issues? This is another very misunderstood area where people are self medicating which then worsens the problem for them but they are easily passed off as scuzzers not worthy of help,
long story short , my brother suffered for years , was on methadone , we helped as much as we could but he would go off grid for long periods we would contact police to go round and check ,, after Christmas we chased the police again to check , turns out he had died 1 and a half years ago , they never contacted us or family , buried him in a paupers grave ,,,
disgusting from police Scotland , tried official complaints route , waste of time , managed to get a piece in the papers in Scotland to show the way drugs issues are being handled in Scotland

Amazed with what I saw today. WBA haven't scored many in recent times, but the team we had to field looked well short of a result on paper. Absolute guts and bottle to grind out 3 points from that.
With everything that's going on, the fact that we haven't rolled over but are showing masses of enthusiasm is inspirational.
We've had so many teams miles more talented in every regard, but so few I've had as much pride in.
Absolutely smashing day out again. COYR.

They always do. They also never mention that a couple of seasons ago they tried to get the remainder of the reduced fine cancelled, or that even the original £40m was only a third of what they received as the proceeds of promotion.
I appreciate the poster's general sentiments, but he still conveys a sentiment of "we were heavily punished", when they really weren't in comparison to what is happening to DCFC (whilst accepting that some of our woes are self-inflicted).

Consensual agreement with Boro and Wycombe? Why don't we tell the chancer bar stewards to do one? Paying them a single penny for their absurd claims would be a travesty and an embarrassment.
