Norman got a reaction from RoyMac5 in Conor Washington - signed on a two-year-deal
Bit too cryptic for me this Tweet. Had no idea what it was. The Mrs helped me out, though, and we got it in the end

I googled “big loads”, wouldn’t recommend it with the Mrs or children around 👀

Norman reacted to MadAmster in Season tickets on sale
4. Expats. I live in the Netherlands. 10 years ago I could, for a Saturday game, fly in on the Friday morning, 2 nights hotel, match ticket, 3 days food and drink, travel from and to the airport and back home Sunday evening all for a mere £250. Fast forward to pre covid and the cost had gone up to £350. Last season it was up to £500 (did 5 home games) and the 2 away games I came back for (hospitality at FGR and Barnsley) cost closer to £800 a pop. It's not a question of "plum" games, it's a question of having the money and it not clashing with life over here. Looking at between 6 and 8 home games this season, one a month roughly. Quite sure there'll be a plum one in there somewhere but there'll also be a Wycombe/ Cheltenham/Fleetwood/Stevenage or two to compensate.
5. There'll be those with shift patterns that don't permit a season ticket as well or dependants for whom they care......

Norman reacted to dcfcreece1601 in Kwaku Oduroh - Season Long Loan to Rochdale
Wouldn't say he's ducked out , he has barely featured yet for any manager , he must have something about him to be a big figure in man cities youth team so hopefully he kicks on this season and earns himself a space with us next year

Norman reacted to May Contain Nuts in New Football kits- 23/24
ZERO design just a s***, plain, Adidas template kit with nothing whatsoever going for it.
Stupid logo placement.
A suitably s*** shirt for a substantially s*** team

I suspect both Flint and Bradley are waiting at least till the end of this week to avoid Warne’s lung busting first week back fitness routine. It is no coincidence that Mendez-Laing is playing for Guatemala at the moment. Never interested him before, but when the alternative is coughing his guts up, and blowing out of his arse, whilst running 20 miles a day, I suspect old Nate would have been just as happy to have made his international debut for North Korea.

Norman reacted to cannable in Krystian Bielik - Joined Birmingham on a 3 year deal
Hmmm… depends though. Thorne made the best Derby side in 25 years look better.
Bielik absolutely bossed games single-handedly for a Derby team that would have been relegated but for his ten game intervention.

Similar to George Thorne, a hugely talented player wrecked by injuries.
If not for injuries he would be a £25m Premier League player easily.

Norman reacted to Ramarena in The Ukraine War
As Leeds Ram said initially it will be positive for Ukraine as it will cause confusion in the Russian Army and weaken them, some elements may even desert.
However mid to long term, this will only be bad. Remember Putin allowed Wagner fill its ranks with a wide range of criminals from Russian prisons, these guys are now launching a coup. Wagner also has significant Nazi elements (quite the irony given the hand wringing on here regarding “Azov Nazi’s”)
Prigozhin has always been pro war against Ukraine, he just thinks it’s been completely mis-managed.
He’s in charge of a group that Putin used to commit war crimes and other atrocities in conflicts. Imagine what he will do if he is running the Russian army?
I can only see bad things if he manages to overthrow Putin. That’s not to say that Putin’s reign isn’t absolutely terrible.
Whilst Putin’s potential downfall is well deserved, what could replace him is absolutely disturbing!

Impossible job as its in Birmingham. A place in which, if just the sheer sight of it isn't enough to kill you, the accent will.
