I would happily support the club in whatever division they find themselves in, but the club may very well not survive such a drastic cut in income. 

Presumably, if we somehow do get relegated, new signings would be academy graduates and loans. Free agents on the equivalent to 2.4k pw should be easy enough as well.. especially if you put in a nice promotion bonus or wage rise.

Before you know he will be leaving all his strikers on the bench and playing Hudson- Odoi up front on his own ( against Villa probably)

Anyone think Cardiff could be pulled into the relegation scrap. Thats 5 defeats in a row now and just lost against QPR who aren't exactly doing great.

Ugh, this is one of those games where I’m not sure who I want to win. Boro obviously, but I feel dirty rooting for boro. So instead I’m going to hope that the game gets abandoned at half time cos everyone’s got herpes. 

I loved having them here, but they really shafted us at the end. Frank was bound to be offered the Chelsea job at many points throughout his managerial career but he chose to go at the very first opportunity, when he would have know he wasn't ready, leaving us in the lurch. Not having the experience of a second season at Derby to draw on, he's struggling to do that at Chelsea and will likely be sacked. He should have finishing the job at Derby first. It was very disappointing when they jumped ship and haven't looked back in our direction since.
I am intrigued by the Lampard/Rooney contrast. It remains to be seen if Rooney works out any better, but I like how the players are working so hard.

It's almost fitting that Keogh be the man to bankrupt the club. 
Always got a bankruptcy in him. 

CB - Agree that if Clarke or Wisdom gets injured could be a problem. We do have Evans, Forsyth, Bielik, Te Wierik(although he might be leaving), Soloman, could all cover for a bit. So i don't think this is the no.1 target we should be making. 
Striker - My opinion this is what we need most right now. CKR looks tired and i don't blame him as he's been heavily involved in nearly every game so far. We have no cover for him as Waghorn is realistically a winger and Marriott is always injured. 
CM - Shinnie and Knight have been great but yes maybe they do just lack that killer pass. I guess we only really have Holmes/Bird as cover for them which is a slight worry.
Winger - Honestly don't feel like we need a winger at the moment. Jozwiak looks great and will only get better. Waghorn can do a job too. We also have Lawrence to come back and also Ibe whenever he is deemed fit enough. Sibley has also been playing there lately and he will carry on improving. We still have Whittaker and Holmes if needed too.
Hector - Fairly sure he would only agree to a loan if he knew he was going to be first choice CB. But yeah good championship player.
Hourihane - Can't see it happening. Would be a great signing but why would he want to join a championship relegation battle from Villa?
Johansen - Good player but honestly don't think he's an improvement on Shinnie or Knight. Suppose he would provide cover though.
Gilmour - Yes Frank does absolutely owe us. This won't happen though. Gilmour too good for Championship now and he's not likely to take Bielik's place.
Vydra - Different type of player to CKR so could be an option but every time i see him play now he's always missing chances and his hold up play is very very poor. Not sure I'd want him back.
Gordon - Not sure if he has the physique for Championship football. Ancelotti seems to rate him though so i'd be willing to give it a 6 month loan. 

I can't think of any names that fit all of those criteria that might be within our (assumed) very small budget, sad to say. 

They've conceded way more than us this season, so they must be absolutely abysmal!

I'm interested to see why AC Milan were so keen to bring him in, seems like a massive risk for a team who are potentially close to winning the league for the first time in forever. I did a quick google search on the Milan manager and he was apparently a very fast ball playing defender in his playing days and wants defenders to push high up the pitch and join in with the attack.

A lot of contract details are private, but the sell on clauses we do know about are usually 15-25%. I would assume we could put whatever we want in though within reason. He would have to go for a lot of money to make 25% worth it though.
How many games has Gordon played for us? One minute in one senior game? Bellingham played the entire season for Brum.
We can't sell Gordon for that much - our hands are tied due to his age. We can only get compensation and then hope we got a good sell on clause and hope he gets sold for loads of money further down the line.

We've just had some winnable games and look how that panned out. We managed to get 2 points out of a possible 18 against Rotherham, Shef Wed, Wycombe, Coventry, Barnsley and QPR. 

Don't think he'd come back here he's trying to get out of league one.

I will say, any team with Colin Kazim Richards leading the line will probably struggle.. 
When you signed him I assumed he'd be a backup at best. Ala Dele Adebola for us back in the day.

It's a difficult one .  A lot if this will be signing on fee element . Don't know if it's still 10%.  If I was 16 and someone offered to put 200k in my bank, think I'd be off.

Imagine a world where Derby don’t sell their best players for peanuts. Given my time watching the Rams, I’m not sure what’s harder to envisage - us getting promoted, or us getting a fair fee for one of our youngsters!

The players and whoever else we desperately need to pay will pocket the cash. We won't be getting mega bucks for Gordon, but if we get anything significant for Knight or Sibley I'd like to think that money would be in Derby Countys accounts ready to cover our bills until the end of the season.
One day we might have a bumper payday at Derby County when the likes of Delap and Gordon get sold on for tens of millions and if we still exist on that day we might finally get our promotion (you can choose which league we are getting promoted to)

I didn’t realise we had European records as well. That’s exciting. 
I thought schalke were quite good. I’ve heard of them, so they must have playing playing in Europe at some point. 

Could have stayed with us, but decided to risk it and go to Chelsea. I understand that it was his dream job, but looks like a risk that isn't panning out and frankly i'm not particularly interested in who manages any team other than Derby.
