Is there a precedent here for a retrospective relegation?  All I can recall is teams getting points deductions either in the season they're actually playing, or deferred to the start of the next season.  I don't recall ever getting to the point where a team is ready to kick-off the next season and then get retrospectively relegated.
I've said this before in that we've clearly played the game to try and get to the PL, as many team who don't get parachute payments do.  Constrained financially by restrictive rules.  But this whole episode smacks of a witch hunt by the EFL.   We've suffered so much already, with barely a team to start the season with.  And now this.  Will they ever let it go?  Absolutely doing my head in.

I don’t see this not wanting to win, I get it gives us an “easier” route, but if we’re to win this, we’re going to come up against someone decent at some point.
Do we want to win it where people are saying, they had an easy run? Avoided the tough games by losing to Czech.
Want to see us win and then knock France, Germany or Portugal out, imagine the confidence running through the team if we manage to do that.
If we lose, then we was never going to win it anyway

Yeah my bad ta.  Mackenzie Hughes - I blame the fact I was talking to the wife about an upcoming camping trip to Swiss Farm in Henley and I was replying, and flipping typed Henley - brain and fingers out of sync.  ?‍♂️

If part of our defence against any sanctions from the DC isn't "You have already cost us dearly with your constant embargoes and the frankly ludicrous amount of time this has taken" then it definitely should be.
Another transfer window swallowed up by the EFL and their meandering, glacial paced incompetence.

Having watch him when he first joined us, plus in a number of Polish internationals, plus a couple of highlight reels of his time at Lech Poznan, there's no doubt in my mind he's a talented footballer.  I thought he did more than Ok last night - yes he misplaced a couple of balls, but he worked hard and tried stuff.  He got himself into some good positions, but didn't receive the ball.
I don't think anyone here can argue he's a cr4p player - he's not.  It wasn't long ago most were raving about him then of course his form dipped, as did his confidence (along with nearly our whole team). Losing Bielik had a detrimental affect on him IMO plus I feel the lockdowns also affected him - young lad away from home. And yes, he does need to work on his end product, I don't think that's in question.  I strongly believe though, with the right players around him, increased experience of what's required in the English game, and rediscovering his self belief he could be a star performer for us.  I for one look forward to seeing a rejuvenated Joz next season.

Part of the problem is that England has never been, nor currently operates as a semi-autonomous region, and so isn't deemed an independent country but is "just" part of the UK. Whereas the other UK nations, albeit still not officially classed a semi-autonomous (I believe - someone may correct me) historically they've seen themselves as independent nations, with their own language hence why they tend to have their own national anthems, whereas England adopts the UK national anthem.
It's another reason why historically other nations have tended to celebrate their Saints Days far more than the English and it's probably only over the last decade or so that more people are starting to acknowledge St George's Day (23rd April); previously there was a real reluctance to celebrate St George whereas pubs used to go all out on St Patrick's day. My local village now hangs out England flags all down the high street each year which is great.
On a personal level, I consider myself English and would prefer Jerusalem where England are being represented.  If it's an event where its GB then GSTQ or Land of Hope and Glory...or, potentially contentious, Rule Britannia! But that one is now being deemed non-PC due to our history and the fact it references expanding our empire.  But in saying that, Flower of Scotland's lyrics reference Robert the Bruce's victory over Edward II’s English army in the Battle of Bannockburn, and is really therefore specifically anti-English.  You could argue that too isn't politically correct.

As a proud Englishman GSTQ has always got my goat as this is a Great Britain/ UK anthem.
I strongly believe that we should have our own anthem/identity just as Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland do.
Jerusalem has always been one that stirs me up and would be my favoured option.

I'm all Natalie Imbruglia'd on this one - in one corner we have a player who knew where the goal was and had the ability to find the net from all angles.  In the other corner we have a player who 4 managers chose not to play.  He clearly has ability so it's more than likely down to attitude and commitment, or lack thereof.  It would have been nice to recoup some moolah on him but c'est la vie.  I kinda wish him well, but will also be somewhat miffed if he goes to Hull and smacks in 15+ goals.

If Marriott has not been allowed by EFL I guess wiz and waggy won’t be either.  Perhaps there is a wage limit.  Technically Davis given it is a loan is different but may still be subject to the wage cap.  Ducking worrying though
