I think that the goalkeeping Union of Steve Cherry and Lee Camp should be on the list.
Although, I think the Derby fans started the bad feeling with Cherry, when he was hammered for conceding direct from a corner against Plymouth in a cup Replay, when it was down to him, that we earned the replay in the first place.

The reason why Morgan Whittaker is getting stick is because he did the fingers in ears celebration after scoring against us. Why did he do it? What's the need? Don't get me wrong I'm not overly bothered about it but it just comes across as a lack of class and respect for a club that gave him an opportunity.

Been seeing Morgan Whittaker getting a lot of stick from some fans now that it's confirmed that Swansea are going to be staying in this league next season. I'm not going to discuss whether this is warranted or not, but it got me wondering: We always say "Once a Ram, Always a Ram", but what former players or other club associates would you say this doesn't apply to? Former Rams that have turned traitor against the club, otherwise burned their bridges, or who would return to Pride Park to more jeers than cheers.
Kenny Burns is the first to spring to mind, for myself. His allegiance is firmly rooted to those down the other end of Brian Clough Way, and with his digs at us over recent years, he's made no secret of it. Personally, I have no genuine animosity towards him, and I think it's all good fun, but is he a Ram? Most certainly not, in my eyes, and I'm sure he'd say the same.
    What do you think?

Clubs across the country seem to be releasing more 1st team squad players than usual.
It might be a sign that they are attempting to lower wage bills.
There could well be a glut of players on the market that will have to lower their wages expectations.

I was in Derby on Saturday and took a drive to the old BBG then drove the walk back to the station we used to take.
Always in the Grange pre-match then a run back to the station past the Grange to catch the train back to LE.  Each game never seemed to pass without some form of incident.  Those narrow streets around the old ground.  Must have been very daunting for an away supporter if you somehow finished up parking in the wrong place.  Really miss the old girl,  RIP BBG.

Another player leaving on a free after being signed for a horrendously inflated transfer fee. And people question why we are so much in the turd financially.

Spot on. The gravy train has come to the last stop. Same for most clubs.
it’s gonna be a wake up call for some players probably having to take contracts well below expectation.
Hated watching some of these over paid prima-donnas these last few years. The days of the likes of Hindmarch, Buckley, Sage, Williams etc. when they we’re putting themselves on the line and literally fighting for the club (in the goalmouth v Stoke). It seemed to mean more.

The problem with the recruitment is that there hasn’t seemed to be any plan, overspending on average players. I also think we all thought that Marriott would score lots of goals and ironically if he was still here think being partnered by big Kaz , think he would have scored a few and we would have been in a better position, he is obviously suited more to playing with a target man.

Doubtful but it crossed my mind that I wondered if there was a feeling between them they should have another crack.

It’s a mess but don’t think it can’t be salvaged, although I could be wrong.

GangwayD reacted to Van der MoodHoover in Can we assume MM is a rich man
There's 3 types of debt. There's the debt TO mel, in respect of all the money he's put in over the years. He can write this off.
There's debt which is owed to others in respect of money borrowed and spent. Mel is possibly guarantor for this debt and after any sale he would not want to be "on the hook". Perfectly standard and natural. I assumed that this was the 40m being quoted as part of the deal.
Now the Wail are trying to stir the pot by talking about possible future sums owed. These sound like contingent debts - money might or might not be payable. For example add ons under player purchases. Mel will not have any responsibility for these once he has sold - the buyers due diligence should identify the potential range and affect the price.
The numbers bandied around in the alonso deal suggested Mel was only looking for about 5m for himself so he can't cut the price much more.
Worst case is obviously if the club is truly unsellable and Mel refuses to underwrite further debt, even if he is prepared to write off all the debt owed to him plus the stuff already accrued that he is guaranteeing.

You see the relief of Stephen Pearce and Mel at full time against Sheffield Wednesday and you think well the club must still be in a salvageable position. If we were ducked anyway, why was there that reaction last week? Maybe I am wrong but at this point I think the media are putting out vague statements without truly knowing what is going on.
