If Callum Patterson available might be worth a look

Would take Lyle Taylor from the stench on loan. Won't get a game there. Seems to have a bit of an affinity with the Rams. Made some positive comments after the epic Birmingham game in Jan, despite acting like a t*** when he was subbed off.

Blimey ,it didn’t take long for the moaners and football managers in the stands to start!  44 days ago we were still in administration.Since then we’ve signed 12/13 new players in a market based on financial restrictions imposed by the EFL.We’re at least a fortnight behind in terms of fitness and we’re trying to bed in these new players and develop a playing pattern with an inexperienced,although articulate and enthusistic ,interim manager.Football isn’t an exact science and each season there’ll be highs and lows.Personally,I’m delighted with the start and expect fitness and results to improve steadily.Just listened to LR’s post match interview and he emphasised we’re a work in progress and the importance of spirit,resilience and determination in the squad.I think the realists among us realise there’s still a long way to go but from where we were,we should be really pleased with the progress made. Onwards and upwards !

6th option for a group of players covering potentially 3 positions.  And there are 3 relatively inexperienced players in that group too.
I know he's not the most exciting signing in the world, but our go-to strategy to see out games last season was throwing Stearman on and going to a back 5 and trying to withstand a bombardment.  I'd much rather chuck on an experienced central midfielder and control the remainder of the game and not get bombarded in the first place. If he only makes a dozen 10-minute cameos, but those cameos help turn 1-0 leads into 1-0 wins, then he's worth it. 

I must admit, that I’ve heard absolutely nothing about Bielik. Reportedly up for loan as the DET reported months ago but seemingly no one wants to take the risk on him. Would boss league 1 mind you

I should have put with knight in midfield 

Knight is a box to box central midfielder but Rooney often played him out wide. You see the best of him in a three man midfield as one of the two number 8's.

‘resign’ instead of ‘re-sign’ can cause fibrillation just wanted to mention 

i agree not worth 15 million but if you look at the market average players going for big money in the premier league 
we have to get some extorted value now after being pillaged for nearly 2 years

He’s been in training, it depends what he wants to do. He’s local to the area still, has a chance to win something and he’ll also be apart of something rather than boro where he’ll be a bit part player. He’d be class at league 1 level. 

That's ok, if he comes here it's because he truly wants to be, not just for the money. We only want players who really want to be here don't we?

It’s a transfer suggestion thread, people putting names forward they think could be an option, might do a job to steady the ship for a year or two, just taking the opportunity to discuss football related matters rather than the off the field circus we’re used to.
The likes of Jagielka, Morrison and Stearman all contributed last year alongside the younger lads, nothing to suggest any other experienced pro who is willing to join the club on whatever terms we can offer won’t do the same. Players released from their contracts when expired aren’t on big wages any more, they’re unemployed, they may well fancy a wage and an opportunity to play for this great club, as might some talented youngsters on loan as you mention.
Whoever ends up in the squad this season, be they experienced pros or exciting youths I hope people get behind them regardless and we can continue that positive feeling between the pitch and the stands from last year.

hopefully this progress carries on at the same pace and it’s all completed on schedule. I’m also hoping that Curtis will stay and is given the armband.
Time to get those players in!
