Folk need to remember that getting to the Championship was Wycombe‘s day in the sun - the biggest thing that has ever happened to them. I grew up playing football with his son. He never came to watch.
I'm not sure what that says about the man but it always felt sad to me that a guy so heavily involved in football never saw his son play.
